I usually use a diluted food grade hydrogen peroxide/water mixture to revive struggling plants... Credit to creative explained.... This method is way more supportive

TANGLEFOOT!!! TANGLEFOOT!! TANGLEFOOT...(and Surround Kaolin Clay of course) Timing that 1st wave of pests between wk 1 and 3 after petal fall made all the difference compared to last season. Pest cycle disruption for the Win.. the 2 apples in the center were the only ones effected by pests out of a couple hundred. Thinning completed and the rest are bagged

It was time to thin out some of my fuji apples yesterday (in the rain no less) but I had to strike when/while/whilst (lol) the opportunity presented itself. My surround kaolin clay was being washed off and i know the pests would be making thier way to the young exposed fruit soon as the rain let up. So i thinned damaged and/or the smallest fruit out of the clusters leaving 2 of the most promising and bagged them.

Took an aerial pic while repairing the mesh on my garden enclosure. I guess this is what the birds see. Lol... from waaay up top. We've got Raspberries, Red haven peach tree, fuji apple, honeycrisp, 3 of many strawberry beds next to my latest addition (2yrs ago) honeysweet pear, columnar apple next to a juliet cherry bush. About half of the food forest in this shot. Wishing a plentiful season to us all. Happy Growing Everyone
