🛠️ GWH Work Day is almost here!

Join us August 1st as we spend the day caring for the grounds we all love.

We've made it easy to jump in. Volunteers will be split into four crews:

🔨 Builders 🎨 Painters 🌱 Landscapers 🧽 Cleaners

Just stop by the Blue Building, grab a job assignment, and get to work. Whether you can stay all day or only have a couple of hours, every extra set of hands helps us tackle projects that keep GWH looking its best for years to come.

Bring your work gloves, invite a friend, and come be part of something that makes a lasting difference. We can't wait to see you there!

I think it’s fair to say that the youth camp last week was a success! What an amazing opportunity for the youth to spend a week at the campgrounds, learning and growing in a community ♥️ thank you to those who put time aside to make this week so very special!

Community of Christ, a member of the National Council of Churches USA, fully endorses the statement issued by the NCC expressing outrage because of the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer. (See: nationalcouncilofchurches.us/floyd-murder/). Community of Christ accepts the challenge to be “beacons of light in their own [our] communities by addressing racism where they [we] are, acknowledging the trauma experienced by those in the Black community and working tirelessly to end racism and white supremacy once and for all.” The same commitment applies to the suffering of all people who experience racial discrimination and violence in all nations where the church is established.

The First Presidency has extended the recommendation to suspend all church gatherings until atleast May 1st, 2020.

The World Church has indicated they are working on streaming an Easter Service. We will share more information as we are able.

During these unsettling times, please remember members who may live alone. Please reach out to check on them and just have a conversation.

One more thing - please check in with your pastor or CFO to see how you might continue giving your financial gifts to your congregation and the World Church. If you have not considered 'etithing' now might be a good time to look into it. You can get signed up through the website - https://app.securegive.com/cofchrist
