Today, as we recognize Canadian Thanksgiving and Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we pause with gratitude, reflection, and respect.
As a theatre community that brings people together across borders, we recognize that the land we share has a history far older than the borders that divide it.
We honor the Indigenous peoples who have cared for this land for generations, acknowledge their enduring presence, and recognize the importance of listening, learning, and preserving their stories and cultures.
May today remind us that gratitude also carries responsibility: to honor the past, respect the present, and care for the land and communities we share. Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends, followers, patrons, players and volunteers! May we hold today with gratitude and appreciation.
