Neighbors For Kids is an Oregon non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting families in Lincoln County during out-of-school-time hours by providing quality after-school and summer programs to pre-school and school-aged children in a safe, affordable, fun learning environment. We believe that all children and youth have the potential to better their lives and become responsible, contributing adults in their communities. We endeavor to create an atmosphere where all children and youth are welcome to be themselves, learn and grow according to their skills and abilities, develop positive, nurturing relationships with adults in our community, and develop healthy lifestyles that demonstrate respect for themselves, their families, and their futures.

What started as a year-long joke from our Newport van riders finally became a reality! 🍟🚐😄

For the past year, our students have playfully begged us to make a stop at McDonald's, and on the last day of school we decided to surprise them with a special treat! Each rider today received a little something to celebrate the end of another wonderful school year.

At Neighbors For Kids, we work hard to encourage healthy eating habits and help kids build positive relationships with food. We also believe that treats can absolutely be enjoyed in moderation and that sometimes the memories made together are just as important as the snack itself. ❤️

The smiles, excitement, and laughter made this surprise one we'll all remember for a long time.

Today we celebrate our incredible preschool graduates, the future Class of 2039!🎓✨

It has been such a joy to watch these little learners grow in confidence, build friendships, and discover new things throughout the year. We are so proud of each and every one of them and can't wait to see all the amazing things their futures hold.

A heartfelt thank you to our preschool families for trusting us with your precious little ones. Being part of their early years is a privilege we never take for granted, and we are so grateful to have shared this journey with you.

We would also like to give a special shout-out to our amazing preschool teachers, Clover, Taylor, and Hondo. Your dedication, patience, creativity, and love for these children make such a difference every single day. Thank you for helping our students learn, grow, and thrive. ❤️

🍽️💙 Dine Out for the Kids is TOMORROW! 💙🍽️

Looking for an easy way to support local kids while enjoying a delicious meal? Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10th, at Kindred by Zest in Lincoln City!

From 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, 25% of all sales during the event will be donated to Neighbors For Kids, helping provide childcare, educational enrichment, and youth programs for local families.

Didn’t make it to our Dine Out fundraiser at Wilds Tap House & BBQ yesterday? No worries, here’s another opportunity to enjoy a great meal while supporting local kids!

Join us Thursday, June 4th at Nye Beach Café in Newport. From 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 10% of all sales will be donated to Neighbors For Kids to help provide childcare, educational enrichment, and youth programs for local families.

And if you did join us at Wilds yesterday, first of all thank you! ❤️ But we won’t stop you from treating yourself to another delicious meal for another great cause. 😉

A group of our Kids Zone afterschool kids, had such a fun opportunity to visit the Historic Western Flyer yesterday! ⚓🌊

They got to explore the ship, learn about its history, and hear all about the research and work being done to better understand and protect our oceans. There were lots of great questions, excited conversations, and a few future scientists in the making!

A huge thank you to K**a at HMSC for connecting us, Rials, and the entire Western Flyer crew for taking the time to share your knowledge and make this such a memorable experience. We are incredibly grateful for community partners who create opportunities like this for our kids.

Thank you for having us aboard! We had a blast!
