Depew made the news ❤️ AGAIN!

We’re proud to share that our community is featured in Oklahoma Living Magazine's May 2026 issue—reaching over 315,000 homes across the state each month.

This story started with a simple thought: our fire department needs a generator.

From there, Chrissy did what she does, she wrote a grant. The rest is history—people showed up, made calls, and turned an idea into something real. Now that story is being shared all across Oklahoma.

A huge thank you to those who helped make it happen: East Central Electric Cooperative, Oklahoma Natural Gas, and the Generator Supercenter Of Tulsa.

From Lylia Sparks of East Central being the first to jump in and show support, to Chris Patterson of ONG rallying support and an also ribbon cutting turnout, to the Generator Supercenter team moving at lightning speed to meet the need in just 45 days of learning about it—this was a true community effort.

This is Depew. 💪 and the Depew OK Ladies Auxiliary Club is so proud to be part of it!

✨ A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA! ✨
Our VP had the best time today visiting the Depew Senior Citizens Organization at the Community Center for our official check ceremony!

This year, the Depew OK Ladies Auxiliary chose this fundraiser as our Official Random Act of Kindness Project. 💖After tallying up the $411.30 raised at our Atwoods hot dog fundraiser, the Depew OK Ladies Auxiliary unanimously voted to round that donation up to an even $450.00! 💵🎉

We are so incredibly proud to support our local seniors. This donation will go directly toward keeping the center a thriving, active hub for our community.

📣 Calling all community helpers (and the curious)!

Have you ever wondered… “What exactly do those Auxiliary ladies do?”

Well… this is your chance to find out! 😄

The Depew OK Ladies Auxiliary is getting together to sort through our materials, get organized, and plan ways to keep doing good things for our town. And honestly… we could use a few extra hands and a few good laughs.

🗓 Saturday, March 21st
⏰ 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
📍 419 Main Street, Depew

What will we be doing?

✔ Sorting Auxiliary stuff
✔ Getting organized
✔ Talking about ways to help our community
✔ Probably telling a few stories along the way

You can stay five minutes or the whole afternoon — every bit of help counts.

And just to clear something up… men are welcome too! (Yes, really. We checked the rules. 😉)

Bring a friend, bring your curiosity, and come see what the Auxiliary is all about. Let’s keep making Depew the best little town around.

The Depew OK Ladies Auxiliary wants to give a A HUGE thank you to everyone who came to our Depew Seniors Hot Dog Fundraiser yesterday at Atwoods in Cushing! 🌭💛

A special thank you to Atwoods Ranch & Home Goods for supporting our small community and providing the hotdogs, buns, and drinks for the fundraiser! The managers and staff were so welcoming helpful and the absolute sweetest hosts!!

Because of everyone's support, the Depew Senior Center will receive all proceeds totaling $411.30. LET'S GO! Your generosity makes a real difference! 🙏
