It is with a very heavy heart and sadness to inform the officers and members of the Depew Volunteer Fire Department that Active Firefighter & Life Member Anthony Rogacki of Hook & Ladder Company #1 of the Depew Volunteer Fire Department has passed away.
Anthony, known to most as "Tony" was a 35 year member and a 3rd generation member of our department following in his Grand father's and Father's footsteps.
Tony is the Brother of 40 year active member and Past Assistant Chief Timothy Rogacki, Uncle of Captain Andrew Rogacki, Great Uncle of Firefighter Landyn Rogacki, and Great Uncle of Junior Firefighter Hudsyn Rogacki, and Cousin of Exempt Life Member Gerald Rogacki, all of Hook & Ladder Company #1.
Tony held the positions of Sergeant of Arms for many years, as well as Vice President, Council Delegate (Warden), and was on the chicken barbecue committee for many years, he also worked for 30 plus years and was retired from the Town of Lancaster Department of Public Works.
