Angels to the Animals area. A team of residents joined together by Mickey Mack, our lead angel who has shown compassion and caring for animals for several years.

Angels to the Animals is a 501(c)3 animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted, abused or neglected animals in the Lincoln County, N.C. Our ragtag team care for neglected, chained and forgotten dogs throughout Lincoln County by providing food, water, shelter/straw, vet/medical care, spay/neuter, fences, walking and lots of love. We

are able to do what we do with assistance from HATS, Heart of the Carolina's Animal Ministry, Lincoln County No-Kill Animal Shelter as well as many generous individual donors. Our ultimate goal is to be able to re-home these wonderful animals into loving foster/adoptive homes whenever possible. Thank you for joining us! We are so glad you did!

What Makes Zula So Special?
-Professional Sunbather: If there is a ray of sunshine in the room, Zula will find it and melt into a puddle of happiness.
-Brainiac in Disguise: She is whip-smart, eager to please, and learns lightning fast. Got puzzle toys? Consider them instantly conquered!
-The Crate Champion: Zula loves her crate. She happily trots right in and snoozes soundly through the entire night.
-Storm-Proof: Thunderstorms and fireworks? Zula sleeps right through them like a rockstar.
-Fetch Aficionado: Rope toys and a good game of fetch are her love language.
Affectionate & Playful: She balances being a super fun playmate with being a total sweetheart who loves to chill out on her doggie bed.
-Manners in Progress: She knows basic commands, has been working hard on leash walking (no more pulling), and is a star pupil.
The Fine Print (Every Superhero Has Quirks)
-Puppy Energy: Because Zula is still a youngster, she can get a little too excited sometimes.
-Social Preferences: Zula is a bit dog-selective. She has successfully lived with two dogs in the past and currently hosts a smaller visiting playmate.

Zula is looking for an active family with older children who is excited to keep building on her training.

We continue to be Blessed over and over!

📣📣 Looking for an IMMEDIATE FOSTER!

This sweet boy is approx 2 yrs old and set to be euthanized FOR SPACE on Saturday!!! This dog does NOT deserve to have it's life ended at all but especially not at the young age of two!
We are looking for a foster to help us Rescue him. We know he is extremely smart, crate/potty/leash trained and good with other dogs. He is sweet and loving and should NOT DIE BECAUSE OF SPACE!! THIS IS JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

When you need a friend, Batman's right here.

The only thing more solid and steady than this hoss' stature is his heart! If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting Batman, you're missing out. Batman came to us a little later in life than most, but boy does he make a lasting impression! Although there was a time when his smile couldn't be found because he was all alone and bound by a chain, when he's with one of our volunteers, taking walks, or meeting new people at adoption events, his smile beams brighter than the sun on a hot July day! He just loves being around people, and he's never met a stranger.

Batman is still living outdoors. Yes, you read that right. That's why he desperately needs a HERO to foster or adopt him, and give him the comforts of home he deserves. He's ready and waiting to be your friend, and he'll always stay by your side. Be his HERO! He'll give you his WHOLE heart.

Meet Reba! She's cuter than a basket of kittens, and a whole lot sweeter! She's a low maintenance girl who's easily entertained, and really smart, too! Reba's 100% crate trained, knows the sit command, and only lacks a smidge from being fully potty trained. She loves to play outside with her brother, even though he hogs all the toys. Reba is looking for her forever family, and she's hoping it's you.
