TechNation Careers is now enrolling Denver residents in a FREE CompTIA Tech+ / A+ certification program designed to help you launch a career in IT.

Program includes:
• 13-week CompTIA Tech+ / A+ training
• Virtual classes with some in-person labs
• Career readiness + job placement support
• No cost for eligible participants

Building the next generation of technical talent.

Now more than ever, the mainframe talent shortage is reaching a critical level. Experienced experts are retiring in droves and most colleges no longer include mainframe skills in their curriculum. Millennials are setting their sights on newer technologies with hopes of joining companies like Google, Facebook and Amazon. Most are not aware that 85% of core financial transactions, such as credit card purchases and ATM withdrawals, rely on the mainframe. While 70% of the global Fortune 500 companies run their core business functions on the mainframe, most lack the effective means to transfer their proprietary knowledge and skills.

TechNation is working to build the next generation of mainframe talent by developing a supply of skilled workers to meet this shortage. We focus on technical training and IBM Mainframe Badges for our motivated candidates. Driven, dedicated and proud to be a part of the American Dream, they view this need as the opportunity of a lifetime. Most are college educated and currently underemployed; all are legally established in the US and do not require sponsorship. We are looking for employers willing to partner with us to build lasting relationships and provide hands-on employment or a short-term apprenticeship.
