CIVIC AID DONATES 50 SYSTEM UNITS TO KONADU FOUNDATION

Konadu Foundation (Ghana) has received a donation of 50 system units from Civic Aid. The system units are meant to be used to promote ICT education in the Konadu Foundation School.

The Civic Aid was able to donate the system Units through the kind courtesy of Recycled PC Organization of Denver, Colorado.

CIVIC AID PARTNERS WITH KONADU FOUNDATION GHANA

Civic Aid(Colorado-based Non Profit) has entered into a partnership with Konadu Foundation of Ghana. As an official partner, Konadu Foundation will be the implementing organization for Civic Aid projects in Ghana.

Konadu Foundation is a internationally recognized community organization that believes in eradicating poverty through formal and informal Education, agribusiness, woman empowerment, discovering of young talents and converting talents into professions. Konadu Foundation restores hope to the underprivileged in the community by giving them quality basic education. We bring the world closer to the rural communities by given them an access to technology such us computer literacy, Internet usage and other ICT tools. Konadu Foundation Ghana is a non-religious, non-political organization.

The Konadu Basic School (Formal Education)

The school is located in Tanoboase a community on the Tamale to Techiman highway. Techiman the capital town of Bono East region. We provide free and quality education to nine communities. Most of the people in and around are mainly pisent farmers and do not generate enough money to educate their children in the city to access the best school.

Konadu Foundation Ghana came in to serve children who are left out from the existing Ghana education system and give them an opportunity to be educated in the Konadu Basic School. Full scholarships are given to all the underprivileged and others who can afford payment to support the funding of the school. Both the Privileged and the less privileged are enroll in the school to avoid stigmatization.

Konadu Basic School is among the top ten schools in the Techiman North District. We have a computer lab with free Wi-Fi which gives the students internet access and to be part of the global village. There is a library with all kinds of books based on your grade.

Konadu School has competent teachers who teach at all levels of the academic syllabus from Preschool through Basic 1 to Basic 7 (Daycare, primary to JHS) with an enrollment of 300.

ASPEN VALLEY HOSPITAL DONATES TO CIVIC AID

Civic Aid has received medication equipment donation from the Aspen Valley Regional Hospital(Colorado, USA). The equipment donated includes infant warmers, patient monitors, infusion pumps, vital signs monitors, and defibrators. The equipment will be shipped to Ghana to support health care delivery. The equipment were received by Edward Anane on behalf of Civic Aid. The Management and Staff of Civic Aid are grateful to the Aspen Valley Regional Hospital for the donation.

CIVIC AID DONATES FOOD ITEMS TO TECHIMAN HOLY FAMILY CHILDREN'S WARD.

As part of activities to commemorate this year's Boxing Day, Civic Aid, a non-profit organization based in Denver, Colorado, in the United States, on 26th December,2024 donated food and other gifts to the children's ward at Techiman Holy Family Hospital. The donation was done in partnership with the Anane Institute.

In his introductory remarks, Mr. Clement Anane, the General Manager of Anane Institute and the local Rep of Civic Aid, indicated that Civic Aid prime objective is to impact humanity socially and psychologically which will help the general development of the individual.

According to Mr. Anane, Children represent the future. Their health, welfare and general physical and emotional development should be a collective responsibility of all and sundry. The food items donated aim at complimenting the efforts of the hospital to help in their quest to deliver quality health to the children.

Mr. Emmanuel Twi ,in-charge of the children's ward, unreservedly commended Civic Aid for their humanitarian gesture and expressed interest to partner with Civic to help deliver quality health care to the children.

Mr. Clement Anane in his closing remarks assured the hospital of the Civic Aid outermost support to the support and any other organizations that share in the core value and objectives of Civic Aid.
