It’s here! It’s here! It’s finally here!

This week, we released the Pathsmith™ PK-16 Developmental Progression to extend the Pathsmith™ framework across the full learning continuum, from early childhood to early career. Our new PK-16 suite of tools creates a connected system from early development to real-world performance, empowering learners to build the durable skills needed for economic mobility in a rapidly changing world.

America Succeeds has developed a PK-16 Durable Skills Developmental Progression to help educators make these skills explicit, developable, and articulable across learning environments.

We've been asking a hard question for a while now: what does it actually look like for durable skills to travel with a learner from the classroom to the workforce?

Today we have an answer.

We're thrilled to announce that the Pathsmith™ Durable Skills Framework has been selected as the exclusive durable skills backbone of LER.me, the new free, open-access talent marketplace launched by EBSCOed . Through the new Durable Skills Marketplace, durable skills can now be defined, measured, credentialed, and made visible at scale, for the first time.

Pathsmith™ serves as the bedrock layer of LER.me's durable skills ontology. Every credential issued, every recommendation generated, and every match made in the marketplace rests on a durable skills foundation.

This is the infrastructure the field has been missing.

Portraits of a Graduate are reshaping how communities define readiness for life after high school, but vision alone doesn’t change systems.

Last week, we released Portrait to Practice, a new 50-state policy scan from America Succeeds examining how state policy helps translate portrait visions into real learning experiences for students.

Our analysis of 22 enabling conditions across six policy areas found that every state has pieces of the puzzle, but the difference between aspiration and impact is whether those policies work together as a coherent system.
