We are grateful for the wonderful veggies , for the sunshine and water that helped the seeds to germinate and grow, and most of all the gardeners that tended the beds so faithfully

So happy the St Tim’s Community Garden is flourishing this year! The donations that we receive from the community and the extra vegetables are donated to Covenant Cupboard and IFCS thanks to Marian Haugh who delivers our produce weekly. Thank you to the gardeners from St Tim’s for tending to the garden. We have certainly been blessed this year and hope for additional helpers to join us next season.

We have flowers and veggies to plant in St. Tim's Community Garden on Saturday, 5/29 from 9:30-12:30. Can you spare a bit of time to help? Bring your own gloves, favorite tool, and water to drink. We would love your help. Hope to see you tomorrow, even if you can only spare 30 min. Thank you for considering us!

Thank you to Mother Lauren, John Putnam,Lynn Zoller, and Margaret Utter for helping to wake up our St Tim’s community Garden today. A labor ofLove! We hope there are a few more folks willing to till and provide new homes for the volunteer plants.I had no idea dandelions were perennials! Some of the roots were more than a foot long!

Does anyone make organic dandelion tea? We have a great supply for you! Whether you have a spare minute or a half an hour, it will help us return the garden to a productive one to help feed our brothers and sisters who need our help. It’s time to plant our cooler temperature crops like carrots, beets, chard, radishes, and ??? What else might we plant ? Suggestions are welcome!

All are welcome!we have tools, gloves, and most any other supplies you might need!

The garden is resting and I am hoping we will enjoy interest from new volunteers this Spring to help plan, plant, and tend the garden so we can once again provide organically grown fresh vegetables for those in need.

I trust all you gardeners are enjoying your gardens at home. Our veggies are thriving. I plan to give my extra veggies to the IFCS of Covenant cupboard food bank. Next year I hope we can involve the neighborhood at the St. Tim's Community Garden. In the mean time, if you have extra veggies I am happy to pick them up and take them to a food bank. Happy Gardening!

Despite the Japanese Beetles, there was a really good bean harvest today! Some of the plants provided enough beans to make a meal!
