AWRA Colorado Building Community - Networking - Be a Resource - Communicating Industry Events and News We meet monthly to discuss pressing water issues in Colorado.

AWRA Colorado is a state section of the American Water Resources Association. We are a non-profit, local, volunteer-based organization focused on water-related issues in the state of Colorado. Meetings typically include networking over lunch, presentations by various speakers, and the ensuing discussion. We also hold annual field trips in the summer to visit water projects, and host an annual day-

long spring symposium to bring people together for more in-depth discussion. We have a volunteer board, and several committees that make everything work. There are several opportunities to get involved. Please check out our website if you’re interested in getting involved.

One of the reasons Chimney Hollow Reservoir is such a great site is because of its adjacent location to the Colorado-Big Thompson Project system, which allows water to easily be moved in and out of the reservoir using existing infrastructure.
