An excerpt from "An Interview with Principal Don Roy," by Ryan Dean, forthcoming in our Spring Issue. The new principal of Manual High School says, "But I'll also say this: my style is not to come into this like a madman and change and disrupt everything. Lyrics from Rey's new song "Genocide" (just a few lines):
"We’ve all had that day we wish we could press reset.

A few lines about writing by Ryan Dean: "To be or not to be a word on the page put there by lead or ink. To let your mind wonder. Exploring the vast confines of the mind to seek and find what no one else will, capture it, bring it to earth."
