Speakeasy Spanglish is the perfect opportunity for you to build your confidence speaking Spanish, meet new people, all while have fun in a relaxed, social, learning environment! Speakeasy Spanglish is a non-profit event organized with the goal of introducing native English and Spanish speakers in order to practice language and build community. The concept is simple. Spanish speakers are paired with English speakers at an individual "station". You both spend five minutes conversing in English, then five full minutes in Spanish. After these ten minutes, everyone switches to a new "station" (conver-station!). Pre-registration is highly encouraged (we want to be sure we have enough speakers of each language for you to get maximum one-on-one practice).
