Bannered Host Ministries is a faith-based, youth life skills/mentoring program.

BHM is also partnered with other ministries, schools, colleges and youth correctional facilities that will promote necessary life building and interpersonal skills.

2026 Scholarships

We are Honored and so very Proud to Announce the recipients of the 2026 "After God's Own Heart" Scholarships!

The After God's Own Heart Scholarship is awarded to Journy who will be attending the University of Northern Colorado. Journy is the last of her 5 sister to have gone through our program and her eldest sister was in our inaugural season. They all attended multiple years. Journy will be Joining her twin sisters as they complete their final year.

Our Affiliate Scholarship is awarded to Hannah who will be attending the University of Puget Sound in Spokane Washington.

These 2 young ladies have a plan and they are excited!
Because this is such a special year they each received $1500.00 are we pray the Lords Blessings over them both!! Numbers 6:24-26

In the last few years we have opened the scholarship program to not only attendees of the program but also to the families of those who have worked along side us with little or no pay allowing us to operate at a level of professionalism as if we had a fully paid staff.

For 14 years we have been able to bless the community and a nearly 250 children with the many lessons and direction that the program was built and founded on by Mike and Debra Spivey. We have 5 of our original volunteers still on the team and still faithful. So this year is bitter sweet as the program will not return next year. Debra will be on a 2 year Christian educational journey and we will see what direction the Lord leads when that journey is over.

Today is the day! AGOH Graduate Scholarship Applications are now open! REMEMBER... Staff & Affiliates, for your dedicated services to the program over the years you are welcome to share with family as well. The time some of you have spent over the past 14 years has not gone unnoticed! Lets help get our young people started on the the right foot!

CALLING ALL 2026 "AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART" HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES!! On May 4th the Bannered Host Ministries Website will open up the 2026 Scholarship applications for those of you planning to pursue further education! Associates, Bachelors, or Trade Schools! All details can be found on the website. We are just days away! Looking forward to hearing from you! It does not matter what year you attended AGOH if you are a BK and you are graduating you may apply!
