Filitalia International is a non-profit organization, founded in 1987 by Pasquale F. Nestico, M.D.

As a chapter of Filitalia International, we are dedicated to promoting and preserving the Italian heritage, language, and customs in Denver and throughout the world. and a group of Italian-Americans to promote and preserve the Italian heritage, language, and customs throughout the world. The goal of Filitalia International is to solidify and expand the Italian culture, tradition, and heritage through social and humanitarian events. We offer many programs including Scholarships for younger members, Italian Language classes, networking events for young professionals, and cultural events to experience and learn about the Italian Culture firsthand. For Italian Americans, orgoglio is more than simply being proud of where our families came from. It’s honoring the sacrifices of those who came before us, keeping our traditions alive, gathering around the table, sharing our stories, and making sure the next generation knows where their roots began. ❤️🤍💚

Join Filitalia Denver for our 1st ever BUNCO NIGHT! 🇮🇹🎲

Never played Bunco? Perfect — no experience necessary! It’s fast, easy, a little competitive, and a whole lot of fun. Think speed-rolling dice for points, with plenty of laughs along the way!

🍻 Come early & hang out!
Arrive at 6:30 PM to grab a drink or something to eat, socialize, and get settled before we roll. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the venue.

🎲 Bunco begins at 7:00 PM!
We’ll explain the rules before play starts, so whether you’re a Bunco pro or have absolutely no idea what you’re doing, you’ll be ready to play!

💰 And yes… there’s money to be won!
We’ll have several cash winners at the end of the night — and because we believe everyone deserves a chance at glory, even the biggest losers win! 😂

🇮🇹🇺🇸 Filitalia Friday | We Remember

Today, our Filitalia Friday is dedicated to remembrance.

On September 11, we honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and everyday Americans who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

As Italian Americans, we are proud of the heritage that connects us to Italy and equally proud of the country generations of our families have called home. Today is a reminder of the strength found in family, community, unity, and standing together—values deeply woven into both our Italian heritage and the American spirit.

May we never forget those we lost, those who ran toward danger to help others, and the way our nation came together in the days that followed.

Sempre nei nostri cuori. Always in our hearts. 🇮🇹❤️🇺🇸

MEET THE BOARD: Gianna Perri, the newest addition to the Filitalia Denver Chapter Board, serving as our Communications & Social Media Chair!

➡️ Where is your family from in Italy?
Both sides of my family are from Calabria!

➡️ What made you want to join Filitalia?
I’ve always been passionate about Italian culture and about keeping our heritage and traditions relevant and alive for future generations. I was excited to find a fun, social, like-minded community where I could celebrate that heritage while connecting with others who share the same passion.

➡️ What does being Italian mean to you?
To me, being Italian means bringing passion—and sometimes a little attitude—to everything you do! It means Sundays are for family, gathering around the table, and, of course, delicious food. It means being proud of a culture rooted in family, respect, tradition, and an appreciation for the good things in life. Most of all, it means celebrating a beautiful language, a beautiful country, and a heritage that connects us to where we came from and to one another.

➡️ What do you hope to accomplish with Filitalia?
I hope to help grow the Denver Chapter and bring Denver’s Italian community together through culture, connection, and fun. I’d love to help create a stronger sense of community, welcome new faces, and find new ways to celebrate and share our Italian heritage. On a personal level, I’m excited to make new friendships, become more involved in the Italian-American community, and grow through my experience as an active board member.

Filitalia Denver is pleased to announce the winner of a Filitalia International scholarship, Izaak Skorka! Izaak made chapter history as the first Filitalia Denver member to apply for a scholarship and is one of 62 recipients across Filitalia chapters worldwide. He will attend the Politecnico di Milano in the Fall.
