This morning I was on Annette Amsden Mease's "Money Mirror" tele-seminar. She shared & taught many powerful things. One of those was:
"God knows exactly what you need and when you need it!
But the dilemma is, most of the time it's going to cost money.
Many times we realize that it's going to take time & money - and we say no...we turn down the opportunity. What is God left to do??
It comes to readiness and willingness. Are you ready to accept that?"
I am. I am ready and willing. It is a faith tester. But bigger than that, it's a faith builder. Releasing our selfish ambitions and trusting our Creator is POWERFUL & FREEING! He knows us better than we know ourselves. So why do we constantly try to do it our way rather than HIS way?!? I've experienced that as the constant battle - my fleshly desires vs. His pleasing and perfect will.
God's will IS good, pleasing & perfect (Romans 12:2). So WHY do I keep messin' with it - goin' off with imperfect and displeasing side adventures?!??
My revelation, mostly over the last year, is that it was because I wasn't intimate with Jesus Christ. I didn't have spiritual intimacy with God. Even though I claimed to be a Christ follower, I wasn't seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God. As I've stepped into a place of intimacy with my Savior, I've experienced the Spirit of wisdom & revelation that it talks about in Ephesians 1:17. I believe that I am one with Christ - that He is my Brother - that He is in me & I in Him - that I have communion with God & I can hear the voice of God giving me direction. He is giving me opportunities I never would've dreamed possible - and if I wasn't open to experiencing the SUPERNATURAL, I wouldn't have felt the touch of the Holy Spirit.

So, my questions to any and all - to YOU - is...
Do you think you have intimacy with Jesus Christ?
If so, what has helped you stand on that Higher Ground with the Lord?
If not, what do you think is preventing you from experiencing it?

I encourage you to post your responses below. And feel free to ask questions as well - we are to experience this journey together as brothers & sisters! We are here to give one another a foothold & a helping hand when the mountain in front of us seems insurmountable!!! :-)
