Don't we all love to try to wrap our minds around what we're experiencing in the moment and also try to imagine what our future holds?

Often we can't understand it — at least not entirely — and it seems virtually impossible, with our finite mind, to understand God's infinite plans!

"No one has ever imagined — no human mind has conceived — the things God has prepared for those who love him."
~ 1 Corinthians 2:9

For us to get a glimpse of what God has prepared for us, we need the SPIRIT of GOD in us.

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
~ Ephesians 3:20-21

That 'power' the apostle Paul speaks of is the POWER of GOD — and as followers of Jesus we can tap into that power through the Holy Spirit.

For those of us that want to experience the SPIRIT & POWER of GOD...
may we pursue Jesus!

I want to emulate - and I believe I am emulating - the apostle Paul...
"I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision."

Do you have someone in your life that encourages you to pursue a heavenly vision? Or if you've had one, someone that will support in the journey of being obedient to what God called you to?

I thank the Lord for Oswald Chambers. The brother shares amazing and powerful content - like this devotional from today - on the pages of "My Utmost for His Highest." If you're looking for a devotional, I encourage you to pick up a copy of this (go for the "Updated Edition" that has contemporary English).

Chambers originally shared these thoughts as lectures at the Bible Training college in Clapham, England, from 1911 to 1915, and as devotional talks while serving with the Young Men's Christian Association from 1915 to 1917. The info was compiled by Chambers' wife after he passed away in 1917 at the age of 43. First published in book form in 1927, it has become the best-selling devotional book of all time.

When we are born again, we have visions of what Jesus wants us to be. It is important that I learn not to be disobedient to the heavenly vision.

FASCINATING clip! Check out this insight from hitchhiker Paul. I picked him up in Gypsum on my way back to Aspen 8.12.11 (day of my inaugural spiritual adventure retreat).
He talks about the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Global Currency, Armageddon, these end times, Satan vs. Jesus...

By posting this, I'm not validating Paul's comments as accurate or inaccurate. The reason for sharing is to get you to think about his statements & to reflect on this unique interchange. This is not a typical discussion - especially with a hitchhiker! This was a divine appointment!!!

JESUS on Facebook?

If JESUS were walking the earth in the flesh today...
He would likely be on Facebook.

What would He post?
What would His 'online presence' be like?
What would His photos reveal about Him?
Would He be "tatt'ed" up? (e.g. multiple tattoos)
Would He have body piercings?
What activities would He be shown partaking in?
What interests would He list?
What music, movies & books would He include on His profile?
Who would He quote?
What would He put down for his "Religious Views"?
Who would His employer(s) be?
Where would He live?

And how many FRIENDS would He have??
Would He accept all that sent Him a friend request?
Or only accept those that He's had a meaningful conversation with?

How would He LOVE his Facebook NEIGHBOR?

Of course this is speculative, but I'm curious to know from the Facebook world what they think Jesus would be like today in the physical realm.

I'd love to read your comments about any or all of these questions......

This morning I was on Annette Amsden Mease's "Money Mirror" tele-seminar. She shared & taught many powerful things. One of those was:

"God knows exactly what you need and when you need it!
But the dilemma is, most of the time it's going to cost money.
Many times we realize that it's going to take time & money - and we say no...we turn down the opportunity. What is God left to do??
It comes to readiness and willingness. Are you ready to accept that?"

I am. I am ready and willing. It is a faith tester. But bigger than that, it's a faith builder. Releasing our selfish ambitions and trusting our Creator is POWERFUL & FREEING! He knows us better than we know ourselves. So why do we constantly try to do it our way rather than HIS way?!? I've experienced that as the constant battle - my fleshly desires vs. His pleasing and perfect will.

God's will IS good, pleasing & perfect (Romans 12:2). So WHY do I keep messin' with it - goin' off with imperfect and displeasing side adventures?!??

My revelation, mostly over the last year, is that it was because I wasn't intimate with Jesus Christ. I didn't have spiritual intimacy with God. Even though I claimed to be a Christ follower, I wasn't seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God. As I've stepped into a place of intimacy with my Savior, I've experienced the Spirit of wisdom & revelation that it talks about in Ephesians 1:17. I believe that I am one with Christ - that He is my Brother - that He is in me & I in Him - that I have communion with God & I can hear the voice of God giving me direction. He is giving me opportunities I never would've dreamed possible - and if I wasn't open to experiencing the SUPERNATURAL, I wouldn't have felt the touch of the Holy Spirit.
