Today is the 10-Year Remembrance of "The Great East Japan Earthquake".

On March 11th, 2011 a massive earthquake struck off the coast of the Tohoku region of Japan.

My message today is that of kindness, the human spirit, and remembering. I will be sharing some of my story about what the journey of traveling to Japan for KASA's mission trip in 2011. Join me on KASA's FB group page for an intentional prayer this morning around 9:30am.

Due to travel restrictions KASA wasn't able to travel back to Japan for the 10-year anniversary. We will be traveling back to Sendai (my father's hometown), Fukushima, and the general area the Tohoku region of Japan next year March of 2020.

The ten-year anniversary of The Great East Japan Earthquake is a little over a week away (March 11th). I want to extend my appreciation to all those who donated to the recovery efforts and current mission-related activities.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to travel to Sendai for this year's remembrance. Global travel is restricted making a mission trip this year too challenging to organize.

Today, we created a new YouTube page which will serve as a container to hold all previous recordings from our time in Sendai and the Tohoku region as well as new videos.

We plan to return to Japan in 2022 to document stories of the people impacted by the Earthquake and Tsunami of 2011.

Join me in prayer for those impacted by this tragic event of March 11th.

In addition, I will be going live on this group FB page to speak about the importance of all the KASA organization gave to my life journey over the next few weeks.

Yesterday 9-years ago on 3/11/2011 (Japan Time) an earthquake struck off the coast of Sendai Japan which caused a massive tsunami that devastated the rural communities of the Tohoku region.

Today, I meditated and prayed for all those impacted. During this prayer I inhaled eleven breathes deeply into my lungs and exhaled those breaths in remembrance for the lives lost, those who were displaced, and the countless individuals shaped by this tragic event.

At this time next year (2021), I will be traveling back to my father's hometown of Sendai to visit with the locals and connect with the people that were impacted by this event.😢🙏
