Meet Zevi, a big sweetheart with the cutest snuggle paws.

Zevi is a gentle, loving boy who can be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable and settled in, he becomes the ultimate cuddle buddy. He absolutely loves head scratches, cozying up with his people, and going out for his daily walks.

Zevi was rescued from being euthanized in California and is now getting the second chance he deserves. Despite everything he’s been through, he remains incredibly loving, friendly, and eager to connect with people.

On walks, Zevi is very well behaved and doesn’t pull unless he spots a bunny or squirrel he just has to investigate. He’s treat motivated and eager to please, which makes him fun to work with and easy to bond with. He can be a little picky about plain kibble, but add some cheese, wet food, or sweet potato on top and he’ll happily clean his bowl.

Zevi is incredibly friendly and enjoys greeting both humans and other dogs. Because he’s a larger boy, smaller dogs can sometimes feel intimidated by his size, even though he means well. He is both crate trained and house trained and would love a home where he can continue building confidence and soaking up affection.

Meet Zapp ⚡️ professional shadow, loyal sidekick, and full-time lover boy. He spent months in the CA shelter system and was transported between two shelters.

Zapp is a 4 year old German Shepherd who takes “man’s best friend” very seriously. If you’ve ever wanted someone to follow you from room to room like you’re the most important person on earth, congratulations, you’ve found him. He’s a classic Velcro shepherd, your built-in hype man, cuddle buddy, and yes… bathroom security detail. He WILL be there for emotional support.

Despite his devotion, Zapp is a low-key king. He’s happy to lounge all day, hit the trails for a hike, or toss around with his foster brother, but make no mistake, his favorite place is wherever you are. Dogs are cool, but his human is elite.

Zapp gets along great with his foster brother, but he can be a bit selective with new dogs out on walks. He’s not trying to be rude, he just prefers a proper introduction over a surprise meet-and-greet. Think “gentleman with boundaries.”

He’s also what we’d call a luxury travel companion. Calm in the car, true princess passenger energy 👑, great on leash, and incredibly well-mannered at home. Truly a dream roommate.

Zapp’s one “flaw”? He loves hard. Like… really hard. He can get a little anxious when he’s away from his person, because in his world, you are everything. He’s looking for someone who wants that kind of bond, the kind where you’re never really alone again.

Meet Tajin! A true rags to riches story, she is a 4-5 month old Belgian Malinois who was rescued off the streets of south Texas. She went from being skin and bones, losing hair all over her body, and eating garbage on the street to a life fit for a princess here in Colorado! She is learning all about what life can be like with kind humans, a soft bed to sleep in, endless toys, and her foster sister to play with 24/7. Tajin is growing her hair back wonderfully, has put on weight and is doing great with her potty training and crate training! She sleeps through the night, and relaxes in her crate easily with a puzzle toy.

Tajin will take an adopter who understands her breed and can direct her energy and determination the right way! True to her Malinois roots, she thinks with her teeth first and her brain second. Tajin has been on some local hikes, and is getting more and more comfortable in new environments. She is making lots of progress, but still has some insecurity around food and higher value resources - she will be best fit with an adopter who has experience with resource guarding and/or is committed to working with a trainer to set her up for success! She will do best with an active lifestyle - another confident, secure dog in the household would be a huge plus!

Meet Zoey or as her foster lovingly calls her, “Good Girl Zo Zo.” This sweet little Pug made her way all the way from Tijuana, where she was rescued underweight and with a bad skin condition. With care and love, she’s healing beautifully and showing everyone just how special she is.

Zoey is the definition of a lap dog. She’s a gentle, devoted little lady who simply wants to be near her people. Whether you’re moving around the house or settling in for the day, Zoey will be right by your side, patiently waiting for her favorite spot, your lap. Her big, expressive gremlin eyes are guaranteed to make you smile every single morning.

She’s incredibly affectionate, quiet, and easygoing. Zoey gets along well with other dogs and is happy to observe your every move like your tiniest, most loyal shadow. She trots sweetly alongside you on leash for neighborhood strolls and is the perfect calm companion while you work from home.

In her foster home, Zoey has adapted quickly to routine and is doing great with housetraining, she’s been consistently going potty outside with no accidents. She’s also recently discovered the joy of chewing on a bone, but otherwise, she’s all about snuggles and companionship.

Zoey enjoys car rides, meeting new people (especially if they have an available lap), and being your constant, loving sidekick. If you’re looking for a soft, snuggly, low-key companion who will adore you endlessly, Zoey is your girl.

Hi, I’m Scooby! I’m the shy guy of the group, but once I teel comtortable, I’m as sweet and loving as they come. I really enjoy attention - especially when it’s one-on-one time- whether that means being held, cuddled, or just hanging out close to you.
I’m not much into the chasing games like my Siblings, but I have my own gentle, calm way of enjoying life. I’m usually pretty quiet, but don’t worry -I’ll definitely speak up when it’s time for food or to go outside!
I get along great with my foster siblings, including dogs, cats, and even horses. I’d do best in a quieter home where I can feel safe, build confidence, and get lots of love

Hi! I’m Misty! My foster mom says I remind her of a big ol’ polar bear-and honestly, I think she’s right. I’m fluffy, cuddly, and one of the bigger pups in my crew (second largest, to be exact!).
Even though I’m playful, I also enjoy doing my own thing and relaxing in my own little corner. I’ve got a calm, independent side, but don’t worry-l love attention, especially when it’s one-on-one time with my tavorite humans.

Onyx is a 15 week old German Shepherd puppy, and he’s about as cute and perfect as they come! He’s a silly, s***ky, and incredibly loving little boy who will be your best friend for life. His favorite activities include finding 5 star sticks in the yard, taking his afternoon naps in the hammock, and cuddling up with you to watch the world go by. He really is SUCH a good little boy. Onyx leeps through the night in his crate, goes potty outside right away, and he’s already met lots of people and does great with his foster sisters!

Onyx came to sunshine because his breeder brought him to the vet to be euthanized for having mega esophagus. Thankfully they had him sign owner surrender paperwork and called us. His mega esophagus requires him to have specific care during mealtimes. He eats his food elevated, and then he hangs out in his cute little backpack/swaddle for 10-15 mins after eating every meal. He will be able to use a bailey chair to eat in the future!

Molly is an A++ puppy! At just around 8 weeks old, Molly loves people, food (same, Molly), toys, animals, and quietly sleeps through the whole night! She was found with her littermates with a bad eye injury that required surgery. Having one eye doesn’t stop her from living her best life. With no shortage of s***k, Molly is gaining strength and stamina in her foster home and absolutely loves discovering new toys. She will happily lay next to you on the couch chewing a toy while you watch a movie or read a book. Molly also walks very well on a leash once her initial annoyance of the collar wears off! Molly is showing great improvement with potty training and calms down quickly in the kennel when left alone. Molly really is the whole package. She’s ready to share her wonderful personality with a forever family 🐾

Teddy is a sweet, curious, and strikingly handsome one-year-old (March bday) Great Pyrenees, with long lashes and an adorable little nose ridge. His DNA test confirms what you might guess, he is 100% Pyr.

At this age, Teddy is both curious and thoughtful. He gets excited to meet other dogs and people, though he can be a bit shy at first. To help build his confidence and leash skills, he has been going on a structured pack walk twice a week with a trainer and does very well.

Teddy gets along great with other dogs and cats, though he does like to play, so he would do best with cats who are comfortable setting boundaries. He is crate trained and happily settles in at bedtime. During the day, he may need a little encouragement, but he is very cooperative, especially if treats are involved.

He is a quick learner who thrives on both mental and physical activity. Teddy loves being outdoors, especially in the snow, and has a natural protective instinct. He is happiest keeping watch near the door, close to his people.

Like any young dog, he is still working on a few things, including leash manners and not jumping when excited. He also has a soft spot for books and shoes, so keeping those out of reach is a good idea.

Gary is a lovable French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Rescued just in time from a euthanasia list in New Mexico, Gary is ready for his second chance at a life filled with love, comfort, and plenty of snacks.
This sweet boy absolutely adores people. Whether it’s curling up next to you on the couch, following you from room to room, or soaking up all the attention he can get, Gary is happiest when he’s with his humans. He’s a world-class snuggler and will gladly be your shadow, your couch buddy, and your most loyal companion.
Gary does best as the only pet in the home. While he’s incredibly affectionate and gentle with people, he can be reactive on leash and isn’t comfortable around other dogs. He also does not like cats. Because of this, he’s looking for a home where he can be your one and only, and trust us, he’ll fill that role perfectly. Our trainer does think that his leash reactivity can be rehabbed.

He’s a really, really good dog who just needs the right environment to thrive. Give him a calm home, lots of love, tasty treats, and a little understanding, and Gary will reward you with endless affection and devotion.

👻 Have you been looking for a dog with their own emoji? Hi, it’s me. I may have started out as “Fred,” but as | grew, I earned a much cooler name-Zorro—thanks to my signature eye patch. My foster mom says I’m going to be a big boy, and I’m already growing into my personality just as fast!

I love to run, play, and be right in the middle of whatever is going on-especially if it means | get lots of attention. My tail wags a million miles an hour every time I see people because, honestly, I just love everyone.
I get along great with other dogs and even eats, so l’d fit right into a home with furry friends. And sometimes, I even “help” my foster mom feed the horses (I take my job very seriously... kind of).
