Colorado Rush Rugby Football Club Inclusive rugby, with altitude. Rush Rugby provides a club where amateur athletes can play rugby in an inclusive environment.

The Colorado Rush Rugby Football Club was formed in 2010 to provide a club where amateur athletes in the Greater Denver -Metro area can participate competitively in the classic game of rugby in an inclusive and diverse environment. Colorado Rush RFC is the Rocky Mountain Region's only International Gay Rugby (IGR) member team. Colorado Rush RFC is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.

The mission of Colorado Rush RFC is to provide an opportunity for people in the Greater Denver LGBTQIA+ Community and allies to play rugby on a competitive level. Through practices, socials, matches, fitness programs, fundraising, and recruitment events, the Rush strives to promote awareness and respect for LGBTQIA+ people in contact sports, as well as to strengthen and promote positive self-image and community building. Moreover, the Rush recognizes the historical and systematic oppression of gay men, people of color, and q***r people. By providing an inclusive and affirming space for the individual growth of its members, the Colorado Rush RFC hopes to perpetually dismantle oppression and negative stereotypes in competitive rugby.

Rush Rugby is a competitive, diverse, men’s rugby team that accepts all players regardless of:

- Sexual Orientation
- Age
- Race
- Experience

Rugby is a fun, physical game that will challenge your mind and body. It encompasses aspects and fundamentals of multiple sports combined into one hard-hitting sport! In addition to the physical aspects of the game, our team also shares a great camaraderie. We participate in weekly social events, fundraising activities, community service events, and team workouts. Whether your goal is to engage yourself in sports or to build upon your social network; we encourage all to join and participate in Rugby. We consistently encourage and welcome new players with any level of sporting experience or age to check us out and see what our club and the sport of rugby has to offer you. We only ask that you be willing to work hard and give us your best.

These programs provide free gender affirming clothing to our Trans and NB siblings.

Due to limited staffing and storage space PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF DONATIONS directly to Center on Colfax or Trans Center of the Rockies—- Instead starting Tuesday July 15th through August 15th you can drop off donations to the following Q***r Allied and Q***r Owned local businesses (more locations to come).

Colorado Gives Day is HERE!

When you give to the Colorado Rush RFC, you are supporting the only q***r inclusive, competive rugby team in the Rocky Mountains!

We need 100 individuals to STEP UP and donate $20 each.

With your support, we are able to provide a safe space for all people to play, practice, and love the game of RUGBY.

In light of the results of the recent election in the United States, with Donald Trump being reelected as President, Iceni RFC wants to send our love and support to our LGBTQIA+ rugby family across the pond.

We stand with you in solidarity, as we do with all marginalised communities.

Whilst the result is democratic, it is not the outcome that many across our community would have wanted.

We understand your fear and frustration with the oncoming chaos and uncertainty.

Now is the time to come together and find solace in one another.

The inclusive environments that all of you have built and nurtured are a beacon in otherwise dark times.

There is strength in the diversity of our community, in our acceptance, in our openness.

The family we have all created is a bulwark against bigotry and hate.
