Coloradans For Justice

Coloradans For Justice Working together to organize Colorado, end police brutality, abolish the prison culture and make our state a better place.

Coloradans for Justice formed in the middle of the night following the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. A small group of people got together on Twitter and used Social Media and hit the ground to organize Denver's NMOS14 (National Moment of Silence). We then organized a March for Justice in Denver, and held a community forum. At the community forum, residents came together and agree

d upon a goal: change legislation in the city of Denver to require creation of a citizen review board with the power to discipline to hold the Denver Police and Denver Sheriff departments accountable for their actions. With this goal in mind, Coloradans for Justice will continue to organize and publicize events in Colorado. To volunteer or have your event published, email [email protected]
