Getting ready for summer trips to Rocky Mountain National Park? Depending on what time of the day you plan to arrive and where you plan to visit, you might need a timed entry reservation.

🗓️ Mark your calendars! Timed Entry Reservations will be available on Recreation.gov for the dates of May 23 - June 30, 2025 beginning on May 1 at 8 a.m. MDT.

A timed entry reservation is not needed to enter the park. To enter Rocky Mountain National Park between now and May 22, arrive at one of the park's entrance stations. You will need to show or purchase a valid park entrance pass upon arrival. Click here to visit RMNP's Fees & Passes webpage.

Here are 5 tips for new RV campers - don't worry, we've all been there, and lived to tell the tale. Share your own tips in the comments below.

1. *Don't freak out over the RV's systems*: Take some time to figure out the plumbing, electrical, and generator - it's not brain surgery, but it might feel like it.

2. *Plan your route, or else you'll be playing RV Tetris*: Check for road restrictions, bridge heights, and weight limits, unless you want to test your RV's squeeze-ability.

3. *Don't forget the essentials, or you'll be eating twigs and berries for dinner*: Bring food, water, propane, and a basic toolkit, or you'll be stuck in the Stone Age. And bring lots and lots of snacks.

4. *Level up - literally, or you'll be sleeping on a slope*: Use levelers and stabilizers to keep your RV from turning into a funhouse, especially on windy or uneven terrain.

5. *Hook up correctly, or you'll be sorry*: Figure out how to properly connect to water, electric, and sewer hookups - trust us, it's worth the effort, unless you enjoy the smell of sewage.

Okay folks, get out the popcorn, it's election time!

There are two thrilling positions up for grabs on the Board of Trustees: Vice President of Planning & Development, and Comptroller.

Sandra Wingert is running solo for Comptroller, so no drama there.

But, Amy DeCamp is facing off against Daniel Tinter for Vice President of Planning & Development, so things might get interesting.

Don't forget, you've only got one vote per membership, so make it count!

You'll need your Membership Number to cast your ballot, so if you're clueless about yours, hit up your State Director or Region Director.

Your vote matters for the future of FCRV, so don't blow it off!
