A Heartfelt Announcement about our Club President, Takashi Koyama
Dear LoDo Toastmasters Family,
It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved club president, Takashi Koyama, passed away last week in a skydiving accident.
Takashi lived every moment with extraordinary vibrance. His joyful energy filled every meeting, every
conversation, and every room he entered. Whether he was skydiving, scuba diving, salsa dancing,
mountain boarding, snowboarding, or owning the stage in karaoke, he embodied what it truly means to
live life to its fullest.
We know this news is difficult, and many of us are processing the shock of losing someone who meant
so much to our club and our community.
In light of this tragedy, we will be postponing our Toastmasters Holiday Party, originally scheduled
for Tuesday, December 2nd at Park Center Lounge, one of Takashi’s favorite places to sing and
celebrate. We plan to reschedule our gathering for January and will share details when they are set.
In the meantime, several of Takashi’s friends are hosting a Celebration of Life
on Wednesday, December 3rd at 7pm, and our members are warmly invited to attend. This gathering will be an opportunity for all who knew him—through his many endeavors—to honor his memory, support one another, and celebrate the remarkable life he lived. Please RSVP to the
