Welcome to the CampExperience™ Network and our Sisterhood by choice! We call ourselves Camp Sisters. And to date we have raised $500,000 in cash and over $500,000 in-kind donations for charities in Denver and around the globe.
Since the summer of 2005, where 15 volunteers gathered to design a weekend getaway to uplift and support busy women, while making a difference for others. Built on the desire to be “women helping women,” we focused on designing a “Summer Camp” with education through hands-on workshops, inspiration via storytelling, and activities to connect with our mind, body, and spirit, and each other. From fly fishing to yoga, Bow-tique Shopping to Personal Services, we attracted amazing women from all walks of life for 2006, first-ever CampExperience™ Retreat. Together we raised $20,000 for charity in that first weekend and the magic of the Sisterhood began….
The CampExperience™ Network organizes an annual retreat and a full year of events designed for the education, inspiration, and connection of amazing women. Our “sisterhood by choice” builds our businesses and ourselves, while focusing on the betterment of our community and the world. And we have FUN!

Now in 2019, our 14th year, the CampExperience™ Network has over 5000 alumni in our “Sisterhood By Choice” spanning Colorado and the world. We gather for 33 CampConnections™ Business Building & Networking Groups, 11 Coffee & Conversations Connection Groups, Social Events, and our annual Fall Retreat. We raise cash and in-kind support with creativity and FUN.

Betsy Wiersma
Betsy is that chairman of the Junior High School float, that turned her organizational skills and love for marketing into a movement for amazing women. A graduate of Purdue University, Betsy is a serial entrepreneur, marketing wiz, international public speaker, award-winning event producer, author and Wellness Warrior. Leading with passion and purpose, Betsy is an expert in WOW and relationship marketing. Betsy crafted the CampExperience™ Network in 2005 to fulfill her dream to be a “work-at-home” mom and to enjoy everyday activities with her adopted daughter. Betsy’s philosophy is ROI: Return on Ideas. And the CampExperience™ Network is her playground for designing meaningful activities for women to be inspired, to live on purpose and make their unique contribution to the world….while having FUN! About the Camp Sisterhood
Our “Campers” are a mix of corporate women, business owners and women entrepreneurs, business leaders, community volunteers and active moms that are looking for community connections and personal growth. This one-of-a-kind retreat connects you with amazing people and impactful experiences that will help you:

After each Fall CampExperience™ retreat, we ask the Sisterhood for feedback. Our survey is not about the flavor of the food or the magnitude of the many gifts, but about the ROI: Return on the Ideas they receive from Camp and our associated activities. We call it our Life Impact Survey. And it is in this research we capture the impact on the lives of the participants, the likelihood for them to take action on new ideas and relationships, and their feedback to their peers about the CampExperience™ Network.
