Blue Star Recyclers Founded in 2009, Blue Star Recyclers is an award-winning 501c3 social enterprise. We're dismantling stereotypes, one device at a time. Join us on our journey.

Our mission is to create jobs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and other barriers to employment through ethical recycling and reuse of electronics. At Blue Star Recyclers, we're on a mission to show the world that doing good and doing business aren't mutually exclusive. Led by a team as unique and diverse as the materials we recycle, we're breaking down more than just electronics. We might not be your bargain-bin recycling service, but what we offer in return is priceless - a chance to be part of a cycle that benefits the planet, empowers people with disabilities, and secures your data tighter than Fort Knox. Our approach is simple: ethical recycling practices, unwavering data security, and a dash of fun. Because let's face it, saving the world doesn't have to be a chore. So, while we're humble enough to know we're not the only players in the game, we're confident in our unique blend of social ROI, security, and ethics. Together, we can make a difference, one recycled item at a time.

We get penalized for dysregulation, but nobody addresses the actual problem.

When Autistic professionals flag an unfair policy, push back on an inconsistent standard, or cannot move past a decision that does not add up, we are labeled difficult.

We are not difficult. Our brains are doing exactly what they were designed to do.
Fairness is not a preference for us. It is logical.

Our pattern recognition runs constantly. When something is inequitable it registers as a logical error. An open loop. Our nervous systems respond accordingly.

We are dysregulated because the loop is genuinely still open. Not because we lack professionalism. Because something is actually wrong.

Justice sensitivity is not rigidity. It is integrity.

Leadership that cannot hold that truth is not yet doing the work.
