Founded in 2008, Mile High 360 (MH360) is a comprehensive youth development program that provides students with year-round programming for up to 14 consecutive years. Our mission is to ensure socioeconomic status does not limit a child’s future, and our goal is to end generational poverty by creating pathways to independence and choice through education. Mile High 360 works with historically under
served Denver Public School students from high-poverty communities with after-school, weekend & summer access to essential out-of-school resources. Programming complements school-based learning by providing and organizing local and regional resources to address a child’s social, emotional, and academic needs with structured support. Students join Mile High 360 in 6th grade and continue with the program through age 25. Mile High 360 is with its students through critical transitions—from middle school to high school, high school to post-secondary, and from post-secondary to their first steps in their careers. During these 14 years, Mile High 360 provides after-school, weekend, and summer programming in three core areas: health and wellness, such as mental health support, drug and alcohol counseling, nutrition & fitness classes, and cycling; academics that include tutoring, SAT prep, and college visits; and life skills through community service, summer camps, financial literacy classes and internships with stipends. From middle school through high school graduation, each student will participate in 3,700 hours of out-of-school time with Mile High 360. During their post-secondary and early career years, these young adults will engage in another 550 hours of academic, networking, and professional support with Mile High 360 staff.
