Thank you to all attendees who made CCN’s Day at the Beach a great event! While this is always one of our favorite events, there was an energy in the thin mountain air that seemed to make the day brighter and the food better.
Despite the challenging snowpack conditions, the open runs had surprisingly good snow. Clear skies and the warm sun made it feel like a real beach front event for most of the day.
As always, the best part of the day was getting to spend time together as friends rather than as clients/vendors/service providers. It is the hope of the CCN Sponsors, Board, and Executive Board that you all had a wonderful day, deepened existing connections, and were able to meet a few new people as well.
Thanks to our Sponsors for making the event possible, to all those on the Board who assisted throughout the day checking people in, bar tending, and keeping the food stocked. Special thanks to Keith Callender, Mike Kelly, Jon Williams, and Barb Hanson for preparing and delivering the food, and again to Keith for keeping it piping hot and ready to serve. Renee Boulet, Philip Eidenschink, and Kurt Winfield made sure that we had beverages, including what were apparently toe-curling Bloody Mary’s.
For the first time in three years the bus was essentially trouble free, considering the mostly clear roads and the presence of on-board facilities. Thanks to those who helped set and strike our “camp” for the day. We can’t wait for next year’s Day at the Beach! Find more photos of the event at our website Events Gallery.
