Two veterans. Two service dogs. Two partnerships built to change lives. 🇺🇸🐾

Better Co was honored to sponsor Army veteran Kody’s placement with Story and provide Army Special Forces veteran Jason with essential equipment for his service dog, Nastia.

Both teams are receiving training completely free of charge through Advance Service Dogs in Cañon City, Colorado, helping Kody and Jason build greater independence, confidence, and support in their everyday lives.

We’re proud to stand behind these veterans and the incredible dogs training faithfully by their sides.

Isolation is one of the biggest battles many veterans face.

Service dogs help change that by giving veterans a constant companion a battle buddy who can be with them wherever they go.

As Colonel Robinson reminds us, even leaders need support. No one should have to carry it alone.

If you or a veteran you know could benefit from a service dog, A Better Colorado Foundation is currently looking for veterans to join the program. 🐾

“My dog Reggie supports me in so many ways.”

In this clip, Colonel Robinson shares how much his service dog Reggie has meant to him and the support he’s received through that partnership.

Stories like this are exactly why service dogs matter.

If you or a veteran you know could benefit from a service dog, A Better Colorado Foundation is seeking more veterans to join the program. Visit the link in our bio to learn more!

Meet Kenai. 🐾

Kenai is a service dog supporting Army veteran Nate Kraft, who served 11 years as an Airborne Paratrooper with three combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.

For Nate, Kenai has been life-changing, helping him manage PTSD and find stability, comfort, and peace of mind.

Stories like Nate and Kenai’s are exactly why this work matters.
