Guiding Mountain Dragon & Lion Dance Association is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to sharing the cultural art and sport of Dragon & Lion Dancing. Located in the metro Denver area of Colorado, our team consists of members from the age of 12+ and meets throughout the week for practices. As a non-profit organization, we strive to make Dragon & Lion Dancing financially accessible to all. For this reason, we are dedicated to keeping classes 100% FREE to our students. Our goal is to help our members grow to perform at a competitive level, while also teaching them the cultural significance of the art and empowering them to share it with the community. We love to celebrate with people - whether it's Lunar New Year, weddings, grand openings, school events, birthdays, or just because. Please reach out to us for details and pricing on booking a show. Not the outcome we trained for, but the spirit never wavered. 🏔️⚡️

High poles demand everything from an athlete. While an injury cut our Jong routine short at Red, White & Roar, we couldn’t be prouder of the heart, brotherhood, and courage displayed on that floor. 

This sport brings relentless highs and unpredictable lows, but our love for lion dance and our commitment to each other only grows stronger.

Thank you to everyone in the hall and watching from home who showered our team with love, respect, and support. We’ll be back stronger than ever. 🦁🤝

Our Traditional team showed up and showed out in Houston at the Red, White & Roar Championships! Taking 4th place overall against world-class competition from across the country and the globe is a testament to this team’s discipline, power, and respect for the art.

We had the honor of performing at the Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Expo! In Asian traditions, both lion dance and traditional medicine share deep roots in balance, energy, and cultivating vitality. Bringing the roaring energy of our drums to clear negative energy and promote wellness was a natural fit.
