How do you keep yourself grounded in the face of life’s challenges?

There is always something to be grateful for, even in the darkest of times.
Always stay grateful for the small things in life. Because one little thing can make today so much better than yesterday.

You're alive, you're breathing - you're going to be ok. If you're still breathing, you still have a purpose in this life.
A little gratitude can go a long way.

A new mother needs your love and support during this transformative and often challenging time. So, if you’re reading this, thanks for caring about what to bring when visiting a new mom. Whether you’re related, or a friend, your thoughtfulness will mean a lot to her.

There is nothing more reassuring than knowing that you have friends who care. When you visit a new mom, focus on the mother. She needs to know that she is loved and appreciated. We can’t say it enough. The most thoughtful gift is one that keeps giving. Keep an eye on the needs of new parents as they transition into their new normal and restock as needed. Also, keep in mind that a little goes a long way. A small shower of gifts can mean so much more than one large gift.

We are excited to highlight one of our partners, Amaadi, aka The Belly Therapist®!

Amaadi is the first Black woman to become a Tupler Technique Trained Professional, and she created the BELLY THERAPY program with the postpartum mama (vaginal AND C-section birth) in mind.

And YES! The 6-week programs work for new moms as well as moms who are decades postpartum!

They are also ideal for those planning to have abdominal surgery (e.g., umbilical hernia, tummy tuck, etc.) as the proven results will strengthen the abdominal muscles and connective tissue and restore support to the belly button in the process of closing the abdominal separation.

Remember, healing takes place in many different ways! Breaking bread together over delicious food is one of those ways.

Good food and nutrients are incredibly important for postpartum women who are busy and often sleep-deprived, which makes them more susceptible to illness and a change in appetite. We want to teach women about postpartum nutrition to ensure they are well-fed with nutrient-rich meals that support their bodies, minds, and soul.

Good food is fuel for fortifying your body. For example, a citrus and berry salad contains a delicious combo of antioxidants and has just enough carbs to give you energy! When combined with warming soups full of yummy supportive herbs like garlic, fenugreek, pepper, and ginger, each Mama is satisfied and full of love and nutrients.

- Citrus for Vit C (Immune Support)
- Berries and Fruit (Antioxidants)
- Fresh Sourdough Bread and Rosemary (Carbs for energy)
- Chocolate (Oxytocin vibes)

Once your doctor has given you the all-clear to incorporate movement into your postpartum recovery, you can begin easing back into exercise.

But what do you do with your new little sidekick? Is it even possible to work in a workout with a baby at home?
Here are 5 tips to work out at home with your baby.
