"The best way to get better is by doing something and practicing it. And when you practice and play against the same people the whole time, there's a limit to the development."

- Coach Scott Latchem, Palm Springs Heat youth basketball program.

Learning and growing in Bball means playing new teams who have different skills.

Tournaments take planning and plans can only be made if a coach knows how much budget there is per season. Right now there is zero.

So! The team is fundraising for:

➡️ Travel to tournaments
⏩ Team shirts
➡️ Food and drinks for travel games
⏩ Keeping the program affordable for families

We're getting the campaign ready.

🔥 PS Heat swag drop coming soon. 🔥

🔥 Introducing Palm Springs Heat!!

"I just wanted kids to play. Not to get recruited. Just to have fun."

— Coach Scott Latchem

🏀 Don't let the quote fool you. Coach Scott runs a serious program. He just believes fun and development go hand in hand.

🏀 PS Heat is a basketball program open to all youth across Palm Springs, regardless of finances, experience or school.

🏀 Coach Scott joined the program in 2024 which began because the nearest was 30 minutes away. He knew there were kids in Palm Springs who wanted something local, structured, affordable, and for everyone.

🏀 Today, 20 kids show up to practice. To play. To bond. To learn hoop skills, life skills, and above all, to enjoy the game.

Community hoops!

🔥 Our next swag drop is with PS Heat ! 🔥

We'll be introducing them and their fundraising goals more…

The Chatfield Lady Chargers won the Colorado high school hockey state championship. 🏆

They put in the work on the ice. We helped with the fundraising behind the bench.

When a team has a clear goal and a community that shows up, so much is possible.

Proud to have partnered with them for their title run.
