We stand in solidarity with UFCW Local 7R members and Safeway employees on strike ✊

Our union represents DPS warehouse workers who make sure every school gets the meals our students count on. We understand the important role they play in our communities—keeping our families fed.

Hello Safeway 1267! What a great way to start your Monday, welcome to the line! We’re proud to have you out here with us!

📢 This video captures powerful testimony from an ABGW member during financial bargaining, calling out the double standard of district leadership rewarding themselves while frontline workers remain underpaid.

“If you can give yourselves thousands in bonuses, maybe you can break off some bread for the humble workers in the cheap seats."

It’s time for DPS to invest in the people who keep our schools running—so we can afford to live and thrive in the communities we serve.
