🎁✨ Our hearts are full as Amigas in Action launches the 14th Annual Adopt-A-Family Program!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve sponsored over 3,000 children since we began. 💛 This year, we’re partnering with several local agencies to support Denver families who qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch and need a little extra help this holiday season.

Here’s how you can join us:
🎄 Make a monetary donation — our volunteers will use your gift to fulfill family wish lists.
🎁 Adopt a family — receive a wish list and shop for gifts as an individual, office, or group of friends.

All gifts are due by December 15, 2024 🎅
You’ll receive your family’s wish list within two weeks of signing up!

Tis the season! The 13th Annual Adopt-A-Family program is here. With your generosity, we have sponsored over 2,500 children since we began. For the 2024 season we have partnered with several local agencies - please see our website for a comprehensive list. Our program supports families who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch and who need extra support this holiday season.

We invite you to join us in helping to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Denver children and their families.

The Adopt-A-Family program has two giving options:
1. Make a monetary donation. Your donation will be used by the Amigas volunteers to fulfill wishlists.
2. Receive a family wish list and shop for gifts. This year, consider adopting a family with the support of your office, book club, PTA, or a group of friends.

You can also check out the Donor FAQ section of our website for information about gift wrapping, understanding the Wish List, and more!

Amigas In Action is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and all donations are tax deductible. Please let us know if you have any questions.

To Our Incredible Community of Donors,

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make this year's Adopt A Family program such a success. Together, we sponsored over 300 children across Denver. This year, we'd like to share a few words of gratitude from one of our family recipients:

"I just wanted to take some time to thank you and everyone who organized the Adopt A Family event. Also, I am so thankful to all of the people who contributed and gave gifts to all of us. It made our Christmas a very happy and memorable day. My kids were so excited to open up all the gifts and even myself and my husband as well opened some gifts. It was such a rough year for my whole family and to be honest I wasn’t sure if I was going to have gifts under the tree this year. I was in tears when I saw all the gifts. This was such a blessing and I am beyond grateful to the donors for everything we received. You should have seen my kids' faces on Christmas Day opening their gifts, they were so happy and screaming with joy. I thank you all deeply, I really do. You all made this day magical for us!!! 🤍

For the 2022 season we have partnered with Wyatt Academy, Early Excellence Preschool Program of Denver, and Margery Reed Day Nursery. We also accept referrals from local agencies. Our program supports families who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch and who need extra support this holiday season.

We invite you to join us once again this year in helping to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Denver children and their families! The Adopt-A-Family program has two giving options. The first is to make a monetary donation which will be used by the Amigas volunteers to fulfill wishlists. The second option is to receive a family wish list and shop for gifts.
