please support our space. we’ve worked too hard to get here for this to happen so soon after opening.

the fact that there are people racistly out here being mad about a tiny business that gifts plants to POC and grooms dogs in an eco-friendly way is exactly why we work so hard to uplift our community. people of color continue to face terror by simply existing.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
support us. protect us.
with love always.

We’re settled into our new home!

After being displaced from our former space at Shared Ground due to gentrification, we went on a big hunt for new space and one we could more truly call our own. As we also sought the stability of financial support (yet refused to be sucked into the non-profit industrial complex) we got real creative and developed what is now Permatierra: a community boutique with a purpose!

Permatierra supports local Black and Brown artists by buying, selling, and/or consigning their high quality crafts and creations. A portion of all items sold at Permatierra directly support our project. You can even go the extra mile and buy beautiful plants at the shop and immediately donate them to the project! A double boost of support!!

Follow us to our new home and stop by on Saturdays between 10am-6pm to donate, adopt, and/or shop.

Lookieee!! It me and my special business featured in the Westword specifically thanks to Erika Righter for advocating for me/my community and small businesses in the Denver area

The business not only grooms dogs with sustainable products (the dog hair is even composted!) — it also provides a gathering space for people of color and a boutique for artists to sell their wares.

Hey friends 👋🏽🧡 We have reached a crux! We’re looking for support in order to continue pouring our hearts into this special work.

By October 1st we need to be fully moved out of .co, a space where we were able to house the project free of rent, as their lease is up and they’ll be moving their location. This change has made us reflect on the work we’ve done and how much we’ve grown since launching the project…

Since Earth Day of 2020 we have been attending, hosting, and curating events and workshops to connect, heal, and gift people of color with plants as a means of mental health support and racial healing. This work has been for ourselves and our community!

But at this point, we need support. Its honestly a lot of work to take in planty donations, rehabilitate and care for the plants, and transport them to and from events! Although we LOVE this work and this project fills our hearts tremendously, it does take time, money, and resources to operate.

We are putting this call out to reach the attention of philanthropists who might want to support us and our work. We straight up need funding to pay ourselves, as two women of color, for our labors of love!

Financial donations are great (sup Venmo ) but we need salaries to support ourselves, homes, and families.

Help us spread the word by sharing this post wide and far and please DM us if you have any connections to funding.

With peace and love always!
