Hello everyone. I’m your hands-off admin for this page. It was created by me and my fiancé Tommy to bring a positive spotlight to mental health issues and to promote a safe place for anyone affected, as we both truly believe that mental health is never something to be ashamed by.
Unfortunately, in December, we lost Tommy to a blood poisoning issue. I was in the hospital at the time with liver issues that I’m still recovering from. He was actually visiting me in the hospital when it happened. I fell asleep with Tommy in the room, and woke up to a doctor and two nurses asking me all kinds of questions about Tommy’s health history. He was on life support for several days, but when it came time to make a decision, his family and I decided to let him go peacefully instead of trying to hold onto what wasn’t likely to happen.
Between my health issues and my grief, I am struggling to give this page the attention it deserves. If anyone would like to step up and help me with the admin and moderating, while keeping Tommy’s message going, I would greatly appreciate it. As I have unfortunately been absent and not taken the time to get to know the people in this group, I have to trust that anybody who asks to help will truly be willing to share Tommy’s message and take care of the page.

For anyone who knew Tommy, the loss is unimaginable and I’m sorry if this is how you learned of his passing.
