Next up, we'd like to thank More Fun Comics and Games for joining us again this year as our mile marker sponsor!

Tim has supported the Denton Area Running Club since the beginning. Little-known fact: he's the originator of Denton's Dummest Marathon!

Thanks again for your support.

Big thanks to our Downtown Denton Turkey Trot sponsors!

Today, we're highlighting Tetra Pak U.S. & Canada. They've joined us as our water sponsor, allowing us to replace plastic bottles with recyclable boxes.

Providing water for over 3000 runners isn't a small feat, and we're grateful to have them on board!

Hey All!

Walking Route: Redbud

Gorgeous weather tonight! Come early for the best parking, or scout nearby spots.

The route will be marked, but you'll need a light to see the arrows. Bring a light (flashlight, headlamp) and wear bright colors for the rest of the dark season. This is for your safety. We'll also have some reflective wristbands available.

🤑 Prize Alert - For the first time ever, we're offering a $250 bounty on the Downtown Denton Turkey Trot course record. Drew McLaughlin set a 15:28 bar last year, and Sage Lancaster killed it with a 19:10. 1st place M/F overall is eligible but MUST beat the existing record.

Please remember your pups must be leashed and under your direct control for the duration of the run, and start at the back of the group for everyone's safety. No aggressive dogs!

Tanks and hoodies are here! Come pick yours up tonight before the social run.

The Downtown Denton Turkey Trot is officially on! Registration is open now, and we've got a DARC member discount code if you're interested. Prices will increase as we get closer, so register early for the best price.

The shoe donation box is up at Oak Street Drafthouse all month. Bring 'em up anytime!

Remember to tip your bartenders!

Hey Runners! We're hosting a candy drive at the social run for the next two weeks! See the details below to see how you can help support some of our local students. 🎃👻

Hey all!
It’s getting dark early and it’s time to bust out your bright colors, hi-viz vests, and flashlights.

This isn’t necessarily because YOU can’t see, but because vehicles can’t see you in the dusk/dark.

Doesn’t have to be fancy, a little flashlight works just fine.

Example:

The USB rechargeable LED reflective vest with dual Type-C ports can be fully charged in just 50 minutes, providing an impressive 7-20 hours of usage time (based on selected light colors and modes).

Shoutout to DARC member Jackie Lovelady, who's running the Moab 240! They just got things started a short while ago, and she'll be out there for a bit.

Interested in following her progress on this epic adventure?

Full history tracking archive for Jackie_Lovelady, in the Moab 240 2026. Includes statistics, speed plots and other analysis.
