The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), founded in 1982, is a vital non-profit hunger-relief institution dedicated to reducing hunger throughout North Texas. The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) was chosen for our Advocacy in Action project because of our collective commitment to addressing the urgent and pervasive issue of hunger in our community. Since its inception in 1982, NTFB has been committed to providing millions of meals, which aligns with our values of social responsibility and community connection. NTFB addresses root causes of food insecurity, and their theme is “CREATING A HUNGER-FREE NORTH TEXAS THROUGH EXPANDING COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS”. NTFB will distribute food to the hungry not only daily but also on special occasions like Thanksgiving, Christmas etc. As we approach the festive season, giving hope to the hungry by making sure they have a meal to share with loved ones during this festive season is important. Donations are welcome from individuals and organizations by NTFB. These donations are what have helped NTFB continue to support and feed North Texas. This campaign is to give awareness to possible donators and to those in need of NTFB’s assistance this festive season and at any time.
