University of North Texas: Graduate Students in English Association What is GSEA? GSEA hosts an annual graduate student conference each spring. What does GSEA do? How do I join GSEA?

The Graduate Students in English Association at the University of North Texas is a student organization representing graduate students studying English literature and creative writing at UNT. Our members include teaching fellows, academic assistants, research assistants, writing lab tutors, and MA and PhD candidates in the English program at UNT. Our members are also active in organizations such a

s the Modern Language Association, National Council of Teachers of English, the Shakespeare Association of America, and other professional organizations. GSEA funds the Pearla Irene Marquez Scholarship with money raised at our bi-annual book sale. The book sale also funds the annual Critical Voices Conference where graduate students have the opportunity to present papers. GSEA also hosts professional workshops, mentoring and social gatherings. Fill out the membership application online @ www.engl.unt.edu/gsea/membership. Pay your dues online via PayPal, or print and fill out the online membership application. Place the completed form with your dues in a sealed envelope to the GSEA box in AUDB 112.Start attending GSEA meetings and events!

let the migration begin: heyyyyyyyyyyyy GSEA members! who is going to AWP next semester? and who wants to find a nice place to stay for $116 or $100? (total for a 4 night stay). There's only a little availability and we are booking it soon, so, if interested in this little bungalow... email me at [email protected].
