🧘‍♀️ A First-of-Its-Kind Wellness Initiative! 🧘‍♂️

Yesterday, the Dallas Green Lions Club proudly hosted its very first yoga-focused community event — marking a new and refreshing approach to community engagement.

Guided by a certified trainer, the session brought together members and families to embrace the powerful message: Health is Wealth. From mindful breathing to energizing stretches, the event created a space for connection, balance, and well-being.

A heartfelt special shoutout to our incredible yoga trainer, Yog Guru Batuk Bista, whose expertise and passion made the experience truly impactful and inspiring for everyone involved.

This is just the beginning of a healthier, more connected community. Stay tuned for more initiatives like this!

🦁 Leo Club Formation - We inducted our very first Leo club and celebrated the team with Leo President as Lakshya Kalwar.

🏅 Special Honor & Recognition of Lion Joshi Bal for the incredible achievement of completing 777 marathons and earning a Guinness World Record!

It was truly inspiring to see our community come together to support one another, celebrate excellence, and make a meaningful impact.

Proud to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

On March 28, the Dallas Green Lions Club joined hands with the community for the Great American Clean Up – Keep Denton Beautiful at South Lakes Park. From picking up litter to connecting with amazing volunteers, every small effort made a big impact in keeping our city clean and beautiful.

Grateful for the spirit of service and teamwork that continues to make Denton shine. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Dallas Green Lions Club had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) — an organization built on the belief that every child deserves a safe, comfortable bed to sleep on.

What started as a simple act of service quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Working side by side with fellow volunteers, we learned new skills—from measuring and cutting wood to sanding, staining, and assembling beds—all while sharing laughs and building connections.

But beyond the tools and teamwork, the true impact lies in knowing that each bed we built will support a child’s physical, emotional, and mental well-being. A bed is more than furniture—it’s a foundation for a better future.

Moments like these remind us that when a community comes together with a shared purpose, we can make a real difference.

A Historic Moment of Pride for Lions Club and Our Community!

Huge congratulations to our very own Lion Joshi Bal for achieving something truly extraordinary!

By completing the [7 marathons, 7 continents, 7 days] and setting a Guinness World Record for wearing traditional Nepali attire in all 7 races and representing both USA and Nepal, he didn’t just run across continents — he carried our identity, heritage, and pride with every step.

Beyond this global achievement, Lion Joshi is also a generous and dedicated member of the Dallas Green Lions Club, always leading with service, humility, and a giving heart. His commitment to both cultural representation and community service makes this accomplishment even more meaningful.

This record is more than a personal milestone — it’s a powerful message to the world that human perseverance stands tall and that service to humanity knows no borders.

Thank you for inspiring us, uplifting our community, and representing us all with honor on the world stage.

Dallas Green Lions Club successfully organized a Blood Donation and Health Screening Program at North Lake Recreation Center.

The event was a wonderful example of community service, bringing together generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and healthcare professionals—all united to support health and save lives.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated, donated blood, helped with health screenings, and volunteered their time. Your compassion and commitment truly made a difference in our community.

Together, we continue to serve with purpose and care.

Hello all,

Thank you to everyone who helped and supported our canned food drive. A special thanks to Basmati Grocers for their tremendous effort in connecting with the community and collecting canned food at their location.

Our club also contributed by purchasing additional canned goods, which have been handed over to the Denton Food Bank on Loop 288.

Thank you, Lions, once again for your divine generosity and service spirit.
