Macaroni Island is a partnership between two friends and roommates, Michael Briggs and Marshall Rogers. We enjoy good coffee and like to roast it for our friends and the bands that come play at the house. People seem to enjoy our coffee so we thought that we'd offer it to the public on a limited basis. We are not a big company and we don't have an unlimited capacit
y. The goal of Macaroni Island is to help support some of the great local charities in some small way and to provide another option for some great coffee to the people of Denton (and the rest of the country too, I guess). All net proceeds (any profit after costs and expenses) is donated to various local charities and non-profits on a revolving basis. Our good friend Max Creed came up with our silly name and our pretty cool logo. Our current charity is Denton County Friends of the Family. They are dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by r**e, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with our community to promote safety, healing, and prevention in Denton.
