RECORD BREAKING NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS!! We ended up have 288 volunteers this year! We are sooo appreciative of the teams, companies, families, and individuals that chose us to volunteer with! This year we saw LOTS of families! ❤️ THANK YOU ALL!

Our warehouse is now closed for the season! We are so grateful for all of the donations and hard work by our volunteers. If you have donations that need to be dropped off please take them to American Eagle Harley Davidson in Corinth. We look forward to serving you when we reopen on October 1, 2026!

Anyone missing a bag of Halloween items? We think the wrong bag of donations was dropped into the Toys for Tots box! They are cute and all, but they don’t quite qualify for “new unwrapped toys”.

☺️ TLDR: Record breaking number of volunteers this week! We simply cannot THANK our community enough!! They are In total rockstars!!!

⚠️ WARNING: ITS A LONG POST!!! ⚠️

This week in review:
💪 Monday morning Firehouse Movers Inc. delivered 81 42-gallon bags of toys, 61 42-gallon bags of stuffed animals, another 4-5 Toys for Tots boxes full of toys, and several other essential items. As soon as they got in their truck to leave, the Ryan High School Student Council walked in! They unpacked and sorted all 81 bags of toys in less than an hour!!! There wasn’t even enough time for photos of the bags!!

🧸 Tuesday during the day we had another round of RHS Student Council kids that helped with several different projects including organizing stuffed animals, making stocking stuffers, and sorting toys. That evening we had Flower Mound HS Wrestling team, their parents and siblings helping us with distribution while the Guyer HS JROTC helped sort toys in the warehouse.

⚾️Wednesday evening included more Flower Mound HS Wrestlers and their families, Guyer HS JROTC, AND Denton HS Baseball team helping with distribution and toy sorting.

👷Thursday evening was INSANE!!! A group of first time volunteers arrived EARLY from Northwest Lineman College here in Denton. YALL!! They brought in 40 student linemen to volunteer in addition to another 11 from Grandscape Texas and not forgetting our regular 10-12 volunteers. We had to tell our Guyer HS JROTC cadets they were not needed - Who turns away volunteers??? These crews served almost 100 families with toys, 7 local nonprofits requesting extra toys pulled and ready for pick up, AND counted, unpacked, sorted, and organized 14 PALLETS of toys. They broken down and organized empty boxes from the pallets of toys….too many boxes to even count!! These two groups brought me to TEARS! They showed up and did several weeks worth of work in a matter of HOURS!
