The 2026 Youth Art Competition is underway! We are excited to invite you to participate in the North Texas Fair & Rodeo's Annual Youth Art Contest, a celebration of creativity, talent, and community spirit. This is a FREE contest that is open youth between the ages 5-18.

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to DIANA G. for winning the 2025 PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD! This award was voted on by all of the visitors to the North Texas Fair & Rodeo this year. In addition, this piece also earned the following:

We also thank you for your patience with our fully-volunteer staff this year. We have all spent many, many hours working on this each year so that the youth of Denton County can participate in this free contest.

We are proud to introduce the North Texas Fair & Rodeo Hall of Fame and its inaugural Class of 2025 inductees!

This very special honor is meant to recognize the legends who have paved the way for the North Texas Fair & Rodeo – whether throughout history or through impressive dedication to the North Texas State Fair Association’s mission today.

The first ever Legends Under the Lights NTFR Hall of Fame Induction & Banquet will be held October 19th prior to the 2nd Annual Walt Garrison Golf Classic on the 20th. More information to come regarding this event!
