Days like today always remind us of the greatness that is still present in this world. As the scripture reads in Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” This my friends is exactly what the hundreds of volunteers did this week and today, as we prepared our Thanksgiving Dinners. The selflessness of these individuals, speaks volumes for humanity. They go above and beyond “loving their neighbor” to use their talent in such a positive way. The NUTS Team so appreciates each of you for your continued support, thank you for sharing your talents & blessings. Because of each of you, the Neighbor’s United to Serve is possible. We are only hours away from our 2025 Thanksgiving Dinner assembly. If you have made a meal reservation, your meal should arrive at your home between 8:00 am - 12 noon. If you are volunteering, we thank you in advance for giving of your time to serve the Caroline County Community. If you have provided financial assistance to support this mission, we thank you, as it would not be possible without those donations. Hello Volunteers,
Currently we have a large number of volunteers signed up for Thursday morning, 11/27, to package our meals. Please do not be alarmed if there is not an immediate task for you to do, if you are one that has signed up to help at that time. We do appreciate everyone willing to come together for the betterment of our community and having many volunteers is a great problem to have. We look forward to seeing you all on Thanksgiving. 😊🦃

Neighbors United to Serve, (NUTS) are working on our '2025 Thanksgiving Day Meal Mission of providing 1,000 meals to Caroline County, MD Residents. Please use the links below to make a reservation, volunteer, or make a monetary donation. This mission is funded solely on the generous donations of community members and run entirely by volunteers who wish to serve others. All meals are prepared at St. Luke's Methodist Church in Denton and delivered to homes on Thanksgiving morning by many Community Members, Law Enforcement Agencies, Lions Clubs and Fire Departments. We look forward to seeing everyone come together again this year and thank each of you in advance for your support.

The NUTS Thanksgiving Dinner Reservation line and webpage for 2025 meals will open on October 1, please check back for detailed info on getting meals this year and for volunteering. We are excited to provide 1,000 meals again this year in Caroline County. We thank our community for the support.

Today the largest number of volunteers we have ever had at one time came together for a common reason, “To Serve Others”. Over 1,000 meals were packaged and delivered to families in Caroline County. The hearts of these volunteers spill with kindness, love and concern for one another and their community. To witness the generosity of them sharing their time and talents often leave us speechless. Today was such a positive day and we again thank you all for helping to make a difference.🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Neighbors United to Serve (NUTS) is currently accepting reservations for individual Thanksgiving Dinners in Caroline County, MD. The meals are provided to requested household members only, I'm sorry but we are not able to provide meals for guest visiting your home. To reserve a meal you may do so on the webpage at http://bit.ly/NUTS2024Order or by calling 443-256-9603 and leaving a message with the requested information. If you are interested in Volunteering with our mission you can add your information to our Volunteer Log at https://bit.ly/NutsVolunteer2024 we do ask young Volunteers to be accompanied by an adult. If you have any other questions, please feel free to send an email to [email protected]. Our goal is to provide 1,000 meals and they will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Meals will be delivered to all homes on Thursday, November 28 and should arrive prior to noon (12:00pm). Thank you.

It truly takes a great team to prepare meals for an entire County, and without that team it would not happen. Thank you to everyone from our planning team, food pick up people, laborers, those that donate to our mission, delivery people, all those in the shadows that keep us going and to St. Luke’s Methodist Church for allowing us to utilize their building for an entire week for cooking, organizing, preparing food and packaging. From the bottom of our hearts we are humbled by each of you. Many thanks for a fabulous year!!❤️🦃❤️
