Heavenly Father,
As our children head back to school, we ask You to cover them with Your protection, grace, and favor.
Lord, watch over them as they travel to and from school. Protect every student, teacher, coach, administrator, bus driver, and staff member. Place Your hand over every classroom, hallway, practice field, and campus.
Give our children wisdom to make good decisions, courage to stand for what is right, and strength to walk away from what is wrong. Help them stay focused on their education and the goals You have placed before them. Surround them with good friends and positive influences who will encourage them to grow.
When they feel stressed, remind them that You are with them. When they struggle, give them perseverance. When they succeed, keep them humble and thankful. When they make mistakes, give them the wisdom to learn, grow, and keep moving forward.
Lord, protect their minds, their hearts, and their futures. Let no weapon formed against them prosper. Give parents peace as we send our children out each day, trusting that Your hands can reach places ours cannot.
May this school year be filled with growth, success, safety, new opportunities, and blessings. Help our children become not only better students and athletes, but better young men and women of character, integrity, kindness, and faith.
We place this school year in Your hands and trust You every step of the way.
