The special visitor to attend our Rotary Club meeting this week was Wilma Mullet, Executive Director of the Tuscarawas Arts Partnership. Wilma provided information about the T County Arts Partnership, their projects, of which Art on The Square is the most popular. Wilma also explained how people are being scammed by purchasing tickets to T County Venues in which individuals purchase tickets for performances on a website thinking that is legitimate only to find out that they were scammed. We wish to thank Wilma for her very informative and interesting program.
Club President Greg DiDonato is pictured with Wilma in presenting a children's book to honor Wilma, and the Arts Partnership. The book will be signed by Wilma and then given to the Claymont Public Library.

The Dennison Rotary Blood Profile is scheduled for October 10 & 17 at Eastport Primary School. The cost remains the same. Our registration portal will open September 1st at dennisonrotary.com
Let the Dennison Rotary Club assist you in monitoring your health. A very reasonably priced blood testing service, the cost remains the same at $50 for a basic panel of more than 50 tests. Additional tests are available for an additional cost. Having these tests done through your physician at a hospital or blood testing facility would cost you hundreds if not thousands based on the tests your doctor would order.

Reporting meeting events from our Tuesday August 28th meeting, Member Brennan Mathias was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow certificate and pin. With Brennan receiving this elevated status, our club marks itself as being a 100% Paul Harris Fellow Club. We are a small but MIGHTY club.
Additionally, Rita McPeak was our program speaker. Rita presented a history and update of the Twin City Parks and Waterways. Rita is the President of the group which has been working on numerous projects including the Panhandle Passage Park and cleaning the Big and Little Stillwater creek of debris and log-jams. We appreciate the work that the committee does as it opens up the waterways for recreation, canoeing and kayaking as well as assists in flood prevention. In continuing the clubs tradition of presenting a book to our speaker, the book entitled "I Need a Hug" was signed by Rita and will be given to the Claymont Public Library in her honor.
