HELP NEEDED!! 🤠
The first night of the 2026 Tri-State Rodeo is in the books. But we are in desperate need of Ushers. If you or know of someone that can spare 3 hours of your time, Denmark Ball Association would greatly appreciate it! Report back to the Security Carport on the West Side of the B**r Pavilion by 5 pm, or whenever you can get there.
Great opportunity for Highschoolers to earn hours, bring your forms.

Calling all Volunteers,

As we have wrapped up our 2026 ball season, our biggest fundraiser is rapidly approaching. Denmark Ball Association provides volunteers at the Tri-State Rodeo in the areas of Ticket Takers, Ushers, and Security. If you, your spouse, aunt, uncle, parent, brother, sister, friend, or child that is is available to help on behalf of the Denmark Ball Association, we need your help. This years event is September 9th - 12th. We would like to see adult volunteers, but there are opportunities for older youth (12 & older) in the Ticket Taking (Hand Stamping) and Ushering Areas. High School Students, this is a great way to earn Service Hours. If you are able to work at least 1 night, or all 4, any help is appreciated! The Ball Association will receive a monetary amount based on the percentage of volunteer hours worked. This money is used to offset costs that is needed to provide our Ball Season at a reasonable cost to our players.

Note: Gates at the Rodeo open at 5 pm nightly, so we would need volunteers to be there 4:30 - 4:45 pm the latest. We want to go over instructions and answer any questions, then get you in your proper location before 5 pm.. Volunteers have the opportunity watch the Rodeo when they are on break, or before & after their shift. I would like to see enough volunteers to be able to have shifts, or at least be able to give a break to eat, drink and/or use the restroom. Note, we will have food for the workers back at the "Security Shack", where you check in & out.

Ticket Takers: 4:30 pm - 10 pm
Ushers: 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm - (could always use some to stay longer, especially if it's a big crowd)
Security: 4:30 pm - ? pm

- Ticket Takers and Security Closing Hours are dependent on the Performance and Crowd.
- If you are able to work longer than shown, please let us know.

Please respond with a "Yes", or "No". If your answer is a "Yes", please provide the night(s) and area you can help in, along with number of people able to work.

If I don't get a response, and we don't get enough volunteers, I will be making calls. So it will be easier to respond to this email, please & thank you!

Congrats to the Denmark Minor Athletics for battling the heat and a hard fought Pitching Duel. The A's are Denmark Ball Association Minor Boys Tournament Champions for the second year in a row!
Hats off to the Astros for making the A's earn it.

A Big Shoutout to Denmark Major Boys - both winning their last game of the season last night at Community Field, Home of the Burlington Bees!
Denmark Dodgers final score 14 - 1
Denmark Giants final score 7 - 5
The boys battled the heat and the pressure of playing in the Big Ballpark, couldn't be prouder of them representing Denmark Ball Association - Congrats Boys!!

It's our last Little League Night at Community Field tonight and we can't wait to see all the area teams from Burlington, West Burlington and Denmark take the field!!! Gates open at 4:30 PM.
