It was a busy night for soccer in Denmark with not only the high school boys team playing, but also the 5th/6th grade team playing their first game of the season.

The Denmark Vikings 5th/6th Grade Soccer team hosted Northern Door, opening up their season with a fun, fast-paced 7-2 victory. Their hard work during practice is paying off!

6 different players (Conrad, Noah, Hudson, Davis, Valerie, and Kennadie) scored for the Vikings. The team’s “first to the ball” mentality and unselfish passing were the keys to success.

Our midfielders did a great job finding their next pass. The defense was huge stepping up to make things challenging for Northern Door’s offense while both Denmark goalkeepers (Henry and Noah) stopped several shots.

Awesome job Vikings! All the players have been learning a new formation and played their positions well. Keep working hard, having fun, and getting better!

Tough night of soccer against a very talented Freedom team. Varsity lost 9-1 and JV played a very close and competitive game finishing 2-2.

Nathaniel Nellis scored the lone varsity goal assisted by Johann Torres. Enrique Torres and Daniel Wochinske scored the goals for JV.

Mason Rozek played the full game in goal for varsity making 11 saves. Jimmy Johnson played the full game for JV making 8 saves.

Both JV and Varsity start their conference season today taking on Freedom at home. Varsity kicks off at 4:00pm followed by JV around 6:00pm after the varsity game.

The 5th/6th grade club team will also be playing at 5:00pm on the small field.

The Vikings battled the heat and leave Winneconne with a frustrating 1-0 loss.

Mason Rozek played the full game in goal making 12 saves.

Both JV and Varsity will be back in action on Thursday to play conference opponents Freedom .

The boys varsity team heads to Winneconne tonight, kickoff is @4:30pm!
