I'd like to extend a heartfelt welcome to all of our new followers. Thank you for joining us and for taking an interest in this page. I would also encourage you to share this page with your family and friends, because the more people who see Sonia's story, the greater the chance that someone, somewhere, may hold the missing piece to this puzzle.

This page was created as a clearinghouse for information, discussion, and tips relating to the murder of Sonia Green. It remains my hope and prayer that there is someone out there who heard something, saw something, or knows something vital that could ultimately help crack this case wide open and bring Sonia's killer, or killers, to justice.

Today would have been Sonia's 47th birthday.

Instead of celebrating another year of life, we're left remembering a life that was taken far too soon.

Over the years I've spent a great deal of time thinking about what happened and reviewing the facts that have become known to me. While I was not part of the investigation, I do have nearly three decades of investigative experience of my own, and certain aspects of this case continue to stand out.

The evidence suggests this was not a random act. Sonia was beaten, se*ually assaulted, strangled, and then carefully staged in her bed after her death. The killer(s) had time, knew they had time, and took steps to cover their tracks. Most telling of all, her cellphone disappeared.

A dead victim doesn't need a phone taken to prevent a call for help. A phone gets taken because it contains information someone doesn't want investigators to find.

My personal belief has always been that the person responsible was someone Sonia knew, someone who had access, familiarity, and confidence that nobody would be returning to the house. Whether that person acted alone or with assistance remains an open question, but I have never believed this was the work of a complete, random stranger.

I still hope that one day the remaining evidence, digital records, DNA, or simply the passage of time, will reveal the truth,and I hope Denison Police and the Texas Rangers don't just put this thing away and write it off as an unsolvable case. Somewhere, somebody HAS to know something.

Happy Birthday, Sonia. You deserved better than what happened to you, and you deserve justice.

Is there a connection? Far too early to tell, but certainly worth exploring...

A previously deported illegal immigrant is accused of killing two women in Texas by strangulation and shooting two others who survived the attacks.

Another year, another birthday has passed, and still no arrests. Somewhere, somebody has to know something.

We had some hope when the Texas Rangers took the lead that we would get some answers. So far, they've taken a few swabs, interviewed and re-interviewed a few folks, but we still don't know much more than we did before. Realistically we probably know more about who didn't do it than who did..

Finally, the Texas Rangers are getting serious about trying to solve this thing and bring some justice in this case. If you have any tips, information, documents, or anything else you think might be helpful, please reach out and share what you have / know. Sometimes it's the little things that seem insignificant that can break a case wide open.
