The Pilot Club of Denham Springs is so proud of the Denham Springs High School Anchor Club! 💙

At their February 27th meeting — their last meeting of the school year — members celebrated the completion of their Spring Service Project, a successful sock drive. The donated socks were delivered to Harvest Manor Nursing Home, where Laura LaVine, Recreational Director, graciously accepted them on behalf of the residents.

During the meeting, we thanked the Anchor members for participating in our December Pilot meeting and invited them to attend any of our upcoming monthly meetings. We also shared information about BrainMinders, Compass Club, and the scholarship sponsored by our club — encouraging them to apply if needed and to share the opportunity with their classmates.

We love seeing these young leaders serve their community and grow through Pilot’s programs. 💙

The Pilot Club of Denham Springs celebrated Valentine’s Day on February 10th at the Louisiana Association for Challenged Adults ❤️

We enjoyed an afternoon filled with Valentine’s games, fun prizes, craft time, snacks, and drinks. Most of all, we shared lots of laughs and smiles with some truly special friends.

It was a wonderful day celebrating friendship, kindness, and community! 💕

We were honored to welcome Captain Lawrence Corts, Deputy Commander of the Civil Air Patrol in Baton Rouge, as our guest speaker at the Pilot Club of Denham Springs meeting!

Captain Corts shared the incredible history of how Civil Air Patrol was founded and how it has grown into a vital organization supporting emergency management agencies, the military, and communities across Louisiana and throughout the United States. From search and rescue missions to disaster response and youth leadership development through their Cadet Program, their impact is truly inspiring.

We are so grateful for his service and for taking the time to educate our members about the important missions Civil Air Patrol performs every day to serve and protect our citizens.

Thank you, Captain Corts, for your leadership and dedication to our communities! 🇺🇸

🎄✨ Pilot Club of Denham Springs Christmas Party ✨🎄

What a wonderful night celebrating the season together! We enjoyed a lively White Elephant gift exchange filled with plenty of gift stealing, lots of laughs, and great fellowship over delicious food.

We were also honored to recognize our Emeritus members, Sarah Sullivan and Bobbie Sceroler, for their years of dedication and service. 💙💛

As we reflect on this past year, we are truly grateful for the many blessings from our community. It is an honor to serve Livingston Parish through meaningful projects that make a difference.
