We appreciated hearing Parish President Randy Delatte share important updates on the progress, growth, and future of Livingston Parish.

🎉⚓ Welcome, Michelin Bertin, to the DSHS Anchor Club! ⚓🎉

The Pilot Club of Denham Springs is thrilled to introduce Michelin Bertin as the new sponsor of the Denham Springs High School Anchor Club!

Mrs. Bertin is a veteran teacher who recently joined the DSHS faculty. She brings valuable experience mentoring student leaders, having previously served as the sponsor of her school's Beta Club. Her passion for education, service, and student growth makes her a perfect fit for Anchor Club.

For those unfamiliar with Anchor Club, it is the youth service leadership program of Pilot International, sponsored locally by the Pilot Club of Denham Springs. Anchor members participate in volunteer projects, develop leadership skills, build friendships, and learn the importance of giving back to their community.

We are excited to partner with Michelin as we continue to empower students to lead through service and make a difference in Denham Springs.

Bobbi Jo is always willing to step up, lend a helping hand, and serve wherever she’s needed. As the chair of our annual 5K Run, she dedicates countless hours to making this important event a success, all while inspiring those around her with her positive attitude and servant’s heart.

Her selfless acts of kindness, unwavering dedication, and commitment to our club and community truly embody the Pilot spirit. We are so thankful for all she does and are proud to recognize her as our Pilot of the Month!

🦉🎭 The Pilot Club of Denham Springs was proud to recently present a BrainMinders puppet show to 175 students attending the Livingston Parish SADD Camp at Seventh Ward Elementary School! 🎉

Through the BrainMinder Buddies program, children met 🦉 Wise Old Owl and his friends, who shared important lessons about brain injury prevention and encouraged everyone to "Play Safe, Play Smart!" 🧠💡⛑️

🎨🖍️ Each student also received a BrainMinders coloring or activity book and crayons to take home, helping reinforce these valuable safety messages in a fun and engaging way.

🧠❤️ BrainMinders is the signature project of Pilot International, dedicated to increasing awareness of traumatic brain injury and brain disorders through education and prevention programs for children and families.

🙌 We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with our community and help empower young people with knowledge that can make a lasting difference!

The Pilot Club of Denham Springs is so proud of the Denham Springs High School Anchor Club! 💙

At their February 27th meeting — their last meeting of the school year — members celebrated the completion of their Spring Service Project, a successful sock drive. The donated socks were delivered to Harvest Manor Nursing Home, where Laura LaVine, Recreational Director, graciously accepted them on behalf of the residents.

During the meeting, we thanked the Anchor members for participating in our December Pilot meeting and invited them to attend any of our upcoming monthly meetings. We also shared information about BrainMinders, Compass Club, and the scholarship sponsored by our club — encouraging them to apply if needed and to share the opportunity with their classmates.

We love seeing these young leaders serve their community and grow through Pilot’s programs. 💙

The Pilot Club of Denham Springs celebrated Valentine’s Day on February 10th at the Louisiana Association for Challenged Adults ❤️

We enjoyed an afternoon filled with Valentine’s games, fun prizes, craft time, snacks, and drinks. Most of all, we shared lots of laughs and smiles with some truly special friends.

It was a wonderful day celebrating friendship, kindness, and community! 💕
