⚽️⚽️⚽️Our monthly board meeting for October is Thursday, 10/15/26, at 6:30pm at the DeMotte Public Library in the upstairs west conference room. Join us!⚽️⚽️⚽️

We are still in need of board members!!!

The current positions that are open are:
Secretary
Webmaster
Equipment Manager
Purchasing Agent
Sponsorship Coordinator
Publicity Agent
Concessions Coordinator
Training Coordinator
NWISL Representative (travel coordinator)

We have tried to break up some of the current position’s responsibilities so that the “workload” is easier to manage.

More board members = less work individually 😊

A total of 2 parents have signed up to help for a couple hours.

⚽ RVSA Youth Night at KVHS – Wednesday, September 23!

JV: 5:30 PM
Varsity: 6:30 PM

RVSA players who wear their jersey will receive:
⚽ Free admission
🍿 Free popcorn
⚽ The opportunity to go on the field at halftime of the Varsity game
✍️ Autographs from both the boys’ and girls’ teams after the Varsity game

They are also looking for ball boys and ball girls for the games! 6 kids per game.

We’re trying to get an estimated number to the Athletic Director, so please let us know if your player plans to attend and let us know if they’re interested in being a ball boy or ball girl.

We hope to see lots of our RVSA players there! ⚽

Due to thunder and lightning, the fields are currently closed. Coaches will be in contact with their teams to let them know when their games will resume or if they are canceled.

We have had a great first half of our fall soccer season!
Some housekeeping.
We can't have spectators/fans sitting on the goal line. We understand that it has been hot and the sun has been brutal. On our U8A and all U10 fields, if you would like to sit in the shade, you need to sit on the other side of the walking path and we cannot have you communicating with players on the field. It is ok to cheer for your team if a goal is scored. This is so that the players are able to hear their coaches coaching.
On tournament day, 10/17/26, no one should be sitting along the goal line. Please bring an umbrella for shade if we are lucky enough to get a warm day.

Reminder: This evening is our September monthly board meeting, 6:30pm at the DeMotte Public Library in the west conference room.
We are still in NEED of board members!
Reality check. If we are unable to find board members to help organize/run our youth soccer league, we will be forced to limit our teams to just 4 per in-house division to keep the workload doable. We currently have over 400 players in our league. That would limit us to almost half of that number.
Please, if you are able, come see what we are about and how you can help keep this program on its feet. We want it to continue to succeed but cannot do it without your help. ⚽️
